2018 Ibanez JEM77P-BFP

A premium version of Steve Vai's classic Blue Floral Pattern Jem, the Ibanez JEM 77 PBFP is primed for lead playing. This axe's American basswood body gives you a distinct "out front" sound, that when combined with the euphoric high-gain tone provided by a trio of DiMarzio pickups (a pair of Gravity Storm humbuckers and an Evolution single-coil in an HSH configuration) ensures a dazzling performance every time you strap it on. Complete with an Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge and Cosmo black hardware, the Ibanez JEM 77 PBFP guitar is a great-looking, great-playing tone machine. As far as electronics, the JEM 77 PBFP is equipped with two DiMarzio Gravity Storm humbuckers (designed by Steve Vai) in the neck and bridge slots and an Evolution single-coil in the middle. The Gravity Storm pickups are voiced for richness and depth, with exceptionally warm mids and highs. Both will let your tone easily cut through even the densest mix while maintaining a pleasing fatness. Put this guitar through a screamin' amp, and you'll be impressed at what the JEM 77 PBFP can do. The JEM 77 PBFP's Edge Zero II bridge with Zero Point System was designed by Ibanez to give you the fast vibrato response and snap you need to pull off sharp bends and flutters. The extreme stability of this knife-edge-style trem's stud lock function is also one of the many reasons its a favorite among many of today's top shredders. If you're looking for a guitar that can stand up to long playing sessions without losing its tuning, you're going to adore the Ibanez JEM 77 PBFP. Incredible performance is the reason Steve Vai continues to play his Ibanez signature models on tour and in the studio, and the JEM 77 PBFP doesn't disappoint. The solid basswood body and JEM Premium neck give you sustain that won't quit, and a lively response for excellent note-to-note definition. The JEM 77 PBFP has the rich, warm tone needed for sultry rhythm work, and you can switch to a full-on biting midrange attack for lead work without missing a beat. It's truly musically versatile, just like Steve Vai. This used Ibanez JEM is in excellent condition with little to no wear and tear. This guitar does not come with a gigbag or case.
