Steve Ditko Out of This World #3 Cover Original Art (Charlton, 1957). What could be more startling than this surreal cover image? -- the thrilling discovery of these early Charlton cover originals, fresh to the market, that's what. Even at the start of his career Steve Ditko was an accomplished artist. He made the rounds looking for comic book work in 1953, and after an interlude, soon found steady work at Charlton Comics. It has been estimated that from 1956-57 his production rate for Charlton leaped from 60 to 450 pages, but just try to find any originals from that era. This spectacular cover has an image area of 13" x 19.5", and aside from an aged title logo stat and a few stains, the art is in Very Good condition.
