‘A Quiet Place’ director, John Krasinski, is making another movie called ‘IF’. The fantasy comedy contains an amazing ensemble cast with people like Ryan Reynolds, Steve Carell, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, and more, attached to it. The film is about ‘Imaginary Friends’, thus the name, ‘IF’.

The announcement of ‘Despicable Me’ actor, Steve Carell, joining Krasinski for his project was made official in January 2022. Carell will voice ‘Blue’, an imaginary friend, in ‘IF’. The fans of the sitcom went absolutely crazy upon hearing this. This marks the first on-screen project the duo will be partaking in together ever since leaving the sitcom.

Yesterday, Michael Scott and Jim Halpert gave us a heartwarming video of them embracing and meeting after years. It really took me back to the finale of ‘The Office’.

Krasinski shared the video on his social media and wrote, “Reunited and it feeeeels so gooooood!”

If you had told me that the Dunder Mifflin co-managers will reunite in 2024, I would have never believed you. It really does feel good, John. To all of us too.

The video cuts to footage of Krasinski and Carell hugging in a recording studio. “So good to see you,” Krasinski says. “Oh my Lord,” Carell responds. “I was just telling you guys — has it been years?” Krasinski asks. “I’m glad we’re getting it,” Carell jokes as he points to the camera capturing their reunion. “This is so intimate.”

“I just love that this is the fifth take and you did great on this,” Krasinski jokes back as Carell rushes back to the door for a do-over of their greeting.

It is so heartwarming to see the two friends and co-stars still poking fun at each other just like their characters in the super-hit sitcom that ran for 9 seasons, ‘The Office’. I think the only thing missing from this is a sarcastic remark from Dwight Schrute.

Till the time we wait for the entire cast of the show to reunite, we’ll just keep this video on repeat. ‘IF’ hits the theatres on May 17.
