Newark - Steve K Gall, age 79, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Steve was born on July 11, 1942, to the late Zeke and Minnie (Bell) Gall in Corning, Ohio. He was a graduate of Newark High School and attended The Ohio State University. Steve was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Newark Masonic Temple Lodge #97, and past Monarch for the Teheran Grotto in Newark. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Janet Gall; sons, Kenneth Zeke (Sonji) Gall of Virginia; John Allen Gall of Newark; granddaughters, Savannah, and Samara Gall; great grandson Jovanni Gall; brother, Jerry Gall of Florida; sister, Debby Smith of Newark. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Gall and sister, Nancy Chase. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, from 10 – 11 AM, at St Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 67 N. 5th Street, Newark, where his funeral service will immediately follow at 11 with Rev. Gehring, Pastor Stroup, and Pastor Rauch officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Steve's name to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church or to Hospice of Central Ohio.
