The town of St.Marys is definitely small but it is home to a huge community. While the school system lacks as it focuses on football, the people thrive off of the amazing children that attend. Life outside of school and football games consists of countless lakeside activities as well as drinks and pizza at the various bars. Life in SM is simple and sweet!
St. Marys is a great place to live as far as safety and crime goes. There are never any issues like that here. The main problem is the cost to live in city. The electric/water bills are astronomical and the trash pickup cost is outrageous. Never had to deal with that in my hometown in Florida. Overall a decent place to live if you care about safety, just expect to spent a little more money.
It is a safe small town that has a welcoming community and a beautiful scenery that invites people to learn about its history.
