A few pop up downpours and flashes of lightning overnight, but no widespread rain or storms into this Wednesday morning. The chance for morning rain fades as the sun comes up. Partly to mostly cloudy this morning with some spot showers and storms possible again Wednesday afternoon. Highs in the low 80s. Partly cloudy tonight. Out the door Thursday temperatures will be in the 60s. Breezy and warm Thursday, highs in the mid 80s. Watching for another round of widespread rain and thunderstorms late Thursday into Friday morning. That will cool highs on Friday back into the 70s.

It’s a rather unsettled pattern that takes us through the weekend. The chance for some thunderstorm activity will be around each day Saturday through Tuesday.

Note: The heavy weekend rainfall has made its way through area creeks and streams and into the bigger rivers. Flooding is ending on most smaller tributaries, but minor flooding is ongoing along all the bigger rivers. -Angela Hutti
