Q:I picked up 6 of these on 06/05/23 and they were not as thick as the ones that I picked up last week. These look like the left overs, the bigger ones are all taken. I need 32 more thicker ones to match the ones already installed. I will keep the 6 thin

        Fence rails
The 3 in. x 4 in. x 11 ft. pressure treated pine rails were in great condition when received from the delivery personnel. There were no bad pieces which told me that someone choose each piece carefully and didnt just grab the requested amount to throw on a truck. I appreciated that a lot as service means everything. They were also very easy to stain so I highly recommend these rails if you want a great fence!

          Downhill and Terrible
Split Rail fence has gone to an even cheaper level i imagined possible. I’m trying to replace parts of my old fence but the new, cheap rails are awful

            Good rails
I used 36 rails for my 131 ft long fence and they were pretty good. Make sure you choose the rails wisely at the store. I only caution folks that the "11" foot is about 10-10 1/2 inches at best. The specs state that 11 feet is the nominal length which means the actual will be different. DO NOT lay out the holes w/ 11 foot centers, you will be measuring again as I did. My fence was supposed to be 132 feet but wound up 131 feet as I lose about an inch and a half each section. I think a carpenter would be upset if his 12 foot studs were 11'-10" long. I was somewhat upset that the advertised length was a nominal value.

Product is just what we needed. The only problem was that one rail was split but we were able to insert screws to keep it stable.
