Lauren E Spencer, DMD
Owner/Dentist
Dr. Spencer graduated from The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2012 and is a second generation dentist following in her father’s footsteps. She returned to her hometown of Madison in 2015 and joined Dr. Wall to form Madison Dental Health Partners. She acquires more than the required number of hours in continuing education, having completed courses in Surgery, Esthetics, TMJ treatment, and even obtained Laser Certification in 2013. Dr. Spencer’s favorite procedure is Invisalign (invisible braces) because she likes to look at the whole skeleto-dental unit as one system, rather than individual teeth. Dr. Spencer believes the office should offer patients the latest technology for the best possible long term whole body health. Dr. Spencer is a member of the American Dental Association. When she is not working Dr. Spencer enjoys DIY home improvement, gardening, and hunting for treasures at the local flea market. Dr. Spencer lives in Downtown Madison with her Husband Alex.
Alexander M Marti, DMD, MD, MS
Owner/Dentist - Certified Hybridge Doctor
Dr. Marti graduated from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 2012 and the School of Dentistry four years later. His advanced standing allowed him to pursue published research in the area of advanced digital imaging; completing his Masters degree in Oral Biology concurrently. Dr. Marti’s experience in medicine and surgery have poised him for success as a general dentist with a knack for surgical techniques. He has completed implant training in the surgical placement and restoration of mini-implants and conventional implants, allowing for a wider array of treatment options available in-house. Dr. Marti is a member of both the American Dental Association and the American Medical Association. He and his wife, Lauren, like to approach dental care from the perspective of whole body health. In his free time, Alex enjoys watching, coaching, and playing sports, and all things outdoor.
Emily Young, DMD
Dr. Young is a graduate of Charlestown High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree studying biology and mathematics at the University of Louisville. She then continued her education at Indiana University School of Dentistry earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
A native of Charlestown, Dr. Young is happy to be back close to home serving the southeastern Indiana community. Dr. Young values forming relationships with patients while providing compassionate and comfortable dental care.
In her free time, Dr. Young and her husband, Chris, enjoy taking their dog out to explore new places. During the summer, you can find them on the Ohio River boating with family. Throughout the year, they both enjoy going to concerts, trying new food spots, and traveling to visit friends and family.
Dr. Young enjoys general dentistry and joined the profession with the intention of being a lifelong learner, she keeps up to date with advancements in dentistry through continuing education in a range of topics. Dr. Young is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, and Southeastern Indiana Dental Association. Dr. Young is pleased to bring her expertise to Madison and the surrounding communities.
Bev – Office Manager
Bev is the Office Manager and the linchpin of the practice. She has been here since 1986. She is a lifelong resident of Jefferson County and attended Hanover College before starting her career in the dental field. Bev is happily married to Michael Tucker, who together have three grown sons. She enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time with her family.
Bobbi – Dental Assistant
Bobbi has been a Dental Assistant at this location since 1982. She graduated from New Washington High School in 1981 and the Louisville College of Medical and Dental Careers. She is certified in Radiology. Bobbi enjoys assisting patients with their dental treatments and enjoys the thrill of a good quality result.
Elizabeth Brown – Dental Assistant
Elizabeth graduated from Dental Assisting school at Ivy Tech in Columbus, IN. She received her Radiology certification there as well. She is able to work chairside and at the front desk. Currently, she is working alongside Bev as a Front Office / Patient Coordinator and is our primary employee in taking 3-D CT images. What she loves most about her job is getting to know all the smiling patients. In her spare time, she enjoys doing DIY projects for her home and taking walks downtown.
Valerie – Dental Hygienist
Val is our full-time dental hygienist. She has been with the practice since 1994. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry. Val lives in Carothersville and has two children, Micah and Abby. She is active in her church, where she plays the piano and sings. Some of Val’s favorite interests are being outdoors, bargain shopping, and finding great, new recipes to cook and share with others..
Sarah Wimpee – Dental Hygienist
Sarah is a hygienist at our office. She went to school at the University of Southern Indiana where she received her Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 2013. Sarah is a Madison native and is happy to be pursuing her career in the town she loves. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 sons, walking in beautiful downtown Madison, and playing fetch with her dog.
Erica
Erica Womak has been with the office since 2017. Working in the dental field was a new adventure from her job as a nail tech and she continues to stay busy working both careers. Erica is originally from Crystal River, Florida and is married to her husband Shane. She has five children ranging in from teenagers to toddlers. When there is a free moment, Erica enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
Ella Hardy
Ella was born and raised in Jefferson County. She attended the Career Center in Versailles for dental assisting in high school. Ella obtained her Associate Degree in Applied Science from International Business College and received her Radiology license. She currently is working alongside Dr. Marti assisting with Hybridge procedures. Ella enjoys helping others. She and her husband love spending time with their dogs. They really enjoy when they get the chance to visit off-road parks with family.
