The space
The living room is quite large with a comfy sofa, Smart TV, and coffee table for putting your feet up and cozying up and watching a movie. You'll find board games, books, children's toys, and even some sports items you can take to the park, which is located just up the block.

The bathroom comes complete with many toiletry items you may have left behind. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, soft sheets, hanging space for clothes, easy to access plugs for your cell phones and even white/brown noise machines in case you want to listen to calming sounds as you fall asleep.

Note that there is traffic noise as we are on corner of 18th St. It's not by a traffic light and it's not excessive, but you'll hear cars going by. For this reason, we have provided white noise machines in the bedrooms in case someone is a light sleeper. We find that the machines completely drown out sounds of cars driving by.

The dining room has seating for 5 people and is a tranquil space to enjoy your meals.

The kitchen is complete, with full sized appliances, and includes a microwave, dishwasher, espresso coffee maker, baking supplies, full range of pots & pans, flatware, glassware, etc. You'll also find some cooking ingredients and things like coffee and tea, and other goodies.

Because of the house layout, there's no shared wall between my bedroom (where I spend 99% of my time when home) and your wing of the house. It's only my bathroom that has a shared wall with the kitchen, but again, I don't spend my time in my bathroom. So feel free to listen to music, watch TV, and go about your day. Truly, I just want you to feel at home! :)

Guest access
You'll access the home from the front doorway and have use of the whole front part including the two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, and full bathroom. At the back part of the kitchen is a shared wall with the rear portion of the house, which is where I live. My entry access is through the side gate and I just ask that you not use the backyard area.

I'm very quiet and you likely won't see or hear me while you're here. Feel free to make yourself at home; you truly don't have to worry about the noise issue because there's no shared wall between my bedroom and the rest of the house. And if you have any questions or problems at all, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Just up the block is a great park with a couple baseball fields, tennis courts, children's playground, and large field. Feel free to borrow the frisbee or football to take up there!

Parking is very easy (and free!) on our street. Because it's residential and most people park in their driveways, there's never a problem finding space. This is a very friendly and quiet neighborhood too, comprised of professionals and retirees.

We are located just 1 miles from UO and downtown area. Access to I-5 is pretty easy too. The bus line stops just a half block away from the house so if public transport is desired, you've got easy access.
