You can now use Flight Credits, Southwest LUV Vouchers and Gift Cards when changing your flight in the app. Your unused Southwest® Flight Credits show up automatically when you tap ‘View Funds’ within ‘My Account’.

While the app worked, it was difficult to sort through all of the adverts to find useful features. Worse yet, even with all notifications turned off in app and on my phone related to this app, it still managed to find a way to spam my phone with advertisements. Finally, I just uninstalled the app. The only truly useful feature was the boarding pass on the phone, although it can timeout and blank out when you need it to board. Pity the overzealousness of the marketing overshadows usefulness.

It's nice to keep track of trips, but I have yet to successfully book a trip with it. It errors out before the purchase goes through and I end up booking online. Yesterday, it errored out at the payment because the airfare rate changed WHILE I was booking and they wanted to charge me $5 more per flight. VERY frustrating.

The App is so simple to Book a flight. Checking in is simple. I love Checking flight status. In all my year's my flight has been canceled once. Southwest did nothing to help my situation. They refunded me with Credit which was ok. Flying solo sucks since they don't let Veterans board 1st anymore, only current members serving. Family boarding is the best! Southwest never sends you any coupon codes or something to make things a bit more affordable since this economy sucks. Overall, Solid!
