There isn’t much left from the Roman days and it’s hard to determine what is old and what is new. Thus, some imagination is needed. If you come this far then you have to go in but what you see is mainly newer buildings over the bath. They will tell you that they had to lower the water level to reveal the Roman parts.

Glad to have visited and seen the stones. There is a free and helpful shuttle bus to take you to/from them. It was absolutely freezing up at the top so make sure you dress accordingly! I didn’t unfortunately. At the visitor centre there is a good sized gift shop selling all things Stonehenge and the hot chocolate from the cafe was very enjoyable.

This is a very interesting and engaging museum even if you aren't particularly interested in historic ships or have ever heard of Brunel before coming to Bristol. It's fun to explore the interior of the ship and to learn about the history of the ship and about Brunel in the museums. Tickets are good for a year so if you miss something one day (I didn't give myself enough time the first day, not expecting so much besides the ship itself) you can come back later. The gift shop has a wide array of souvenirs that should have something for everybody.

Yes, Edgar, the first English king of a united England, was crowned in the Bath Abbey in 973 A.D. Since then, the Bath Abby has undergone more than a few renovations. From a Saxon Monastery to a Tudor built Abbey, this site has a 1,300 year history just waiting to be explored. You won't be disappointed.

We visited on a wild and windy morning, but the weather did not in any way spoil the occasion. The location and scenery were fantastic; the staff super friendly. The 'Billy Rawling's' oral history performance was unmissable.

We only viewed this amazing cathedral from the outside as we were driving through Salisbury but wanted to stop by to admire the beautiful architecture up close. Unfortunately during our visit it was closed.

After having driven over the bridge many times this was our first official tour of the Bridge and the Vaults below
We really enjoyed hearing about the whole history of the bridge and it helped that our guide was so knowledgable on every aspect from the early days of planning to present day maintenance and management
We were shown the best view points for photos and were told loads of anecdotes…..really fascinating!
I personally think the tour of the amazing vaults deep beneath the bridge itself was the icing on the cake
They are so unique and to think they had been there for almost 200 years without being discovered,,,,, An experience not to be missed!

I bought my partner a VIP Tiger day experience for his birthday.
He is a massive tank enthusiast.
He thoroughly enjoyed this special day on Friday.
We both visited on Saturday and I was so impressed with the whole set up.
So much to take in, this place is massive.
Mostly run by volunteers doing an amazing job.
Highlight was definitely seeing the tiger in the display field. It was worth the 7 hour journey down from up North.
My partner is still talking tanks!!!
    We will definitely return.

Bournemouth beaches are always good especially from the alum chine to Sandbanks end but this time in Winter took my breath away. With good weather it beats the summer crowds

Easy process to book tickets online. We visited this morning, the sun was shining, and many of the monkeys and apes were out. It's a huge area, but it's really nicely set out. A happy ending for these animals who had a bad start in life. A lovely day out.

Having been here a couple of times before I still find this place amazing. You need to be fairly fit as it can be quite a walk from your car to the ticket desk, then it's a long zig-zag down to the centre. At the heart are the two big biomes (bubbles), the best is the Rainforest area where you are in the steamy tropics and it just gets hotter as you go up the trail. The Mediterranean biome is alongside and is hot but dry and easier to get around. Between the two is the link building where there are two food outlets, and that has always for me been the weak point on every visit as the Kitchen doesn't open until later so the Bakehouse has a big queue which is irritating if you just want a coffee. The separate building The Core doesn't have the 'wow' factor but has a fascinating exhibition about microbes but the kids were entranced by a massive object that blew out smoke rings. Why it's there I have no idea.
Amazing Biomes with terrific displays of plants from around the world and how we use them but my overall experience somewhat spoilt by poor catering arrangements. My top tip, especially when visiting at busy times, is to take a packed lunch with you or use the cafe by the ticket office before or after your visit.

Excellent model village. Alot bigger than I expected. Really well built and maintained. The indoor extras are a nice touch. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend for a family trip out.
