South High School has allowed me to grow and explore myself as a person. A diverse catalog of courses allowed to me get exposure to a variety of different fields where I eventually found that I would like to pursue a career in medicine. This was thanks to my schools Anatomy and Physiology course which I had enrolled in, I found the content fascinating, and learned I had a true skill and passion for it.
I have mostly had great experiences with teachers at South High School, I fondly remember my Anatomy teacher, Mr. Nakasu, and my AP Lang teacher Ms. Shultz, both of whom I had my junior year. Most teachers at South make their classes engaging and educational, this has allowed me to grow a love and passion for learning.
South High has a variety of clubs sports and activities. When I first arrived here I was able to experience in many different clubs and sports, where I eventually landed with my schools varsity waterpolo team, and other various clubs. These have allowed me to grow.

I've experienced a lot of homophobia on campus and outside of campus. A lot of the students can be insensitive and admin doesn't do enough to take care of potential predators or threats to students. But, in comparison to other schools, it's safe-ish.
I really enjoyed the experience at South High. Teachers and faculty members were so nice and especially our principal Mr. Evans was one of the best one I met in my life!
