It was a clean apartment with all the amenities listed. We had a great view of the Sognefjord. The parking was free and large. The breakfast was a buffet with a lot of options. Would definitely come again.

Location is simply superb - even more so if you care to walk around the small peninsula the hotel is situated on. All rooms in the main building appear to have fjord views. Breakfast is alright, service is efficient and the rooms, if dated, are decently equipped.

After some searching I felt like I had come to the right place. The sun doesn’t go down too early like at the hotels in some of the more mountainous areas. It made a huge difference to be able to sit and enjoy it in combination with the exceptional view and my own preferred beverage! Despite few guests staying during corona times, the hotel and large garden by the fjord were so beautifully maintained in the most gorgeous of locations. If you are looking for a really special hotel with original touches and its own very special character and history, then this is the place for you. Super comfortable beds with a choice of pillows and lots of nice cosey corners to sit either in the hotel or outside near by the fjord were such a bonus. I absolutely loved it here!

Lovely location on a promontory with great views of the fjord. Friendly receptionist/waiter. There were no other restaurants in the village so we ate at the hotel and dinner was fine, though limited choice. This was my second stay here and I would definitely stay here again if in the area.
