'Revenge porn' site features explicit Snapchats and attracts more than 530,000 followers in just 20 hours
Dirty Snapchat photos are no longer private - nor fleeting - thanks to a new website devoted to sharing the intimate photos with the world.
The website, 'Snapchat Leaked,' has posted hundreds of pornographic and embarrassing Snapchats without the senders' permission.
Snapchat photos are only meant to last up to 10 seconds before they are erased from a recipient's phone. That has made the application particularly popular for exchanging dirty snaps.
This Facebook page for 'Snapchat Leaked' was shut down on Tuesday. This is a cached version of the page
But Snapchat has a flaw: Recipients can take a screen shot of any image sent to them, defeating the 10-second rule. And now, recipients of those images are secretly uploading them to 'Snapchat Leaked.'
Users of the Snapchat app can see when someone has taken a screenshot of one of their photos, but they have no way of knowing what happens to the image after that

Anyone can submit a saved snap to the 'Leaked' site, where categories include 'Women,' 'Men,' 'Sexy' and 'Stupid.'
The website has caused quite a stir since its debut on Monday.
Unsurprisingly, its Facebook page - which amassed more than 500,000 'likes' in less than 20 hours - has been temporarily shut down by the social networking website.
'Facebook has unpublished our page due to users using the page to "bully" others,' Snapchat Leaked told Britain's Metro tabloid. 'We are working with Facebook on this issue.'
The 'Snapchat Leaked' website also appeared to be having difficulty on Tuesday, as its URL, snapchatleaked.com, appeared to be down.
The website mimicks the many 'revenge porn' websites that have become popular in recent years, where jilted lovers post humiliating photos and videos of their exes.
Before 'Snapchat Leaked,' there was a Tumblr page called 'Snapchat Sluts,' which claimed to only publish photos that were submitted by the people they depicted. That page was also down on Tuesday.
