I should explain how I did this system.
EventHubs doesn't have marked "tiers", so I used a 1-10 system. I split the bottom 10 from the rest of the cast for perspective and Miis weren't included. Donkey Kong is ranked 45th on the EventHubs tier list.
I'm aware of how EventHubs does their tier lists. But I refuse to believe that they can rank DK at the 45th spot and put ZELDA over him?!
What results does Zelda have at high level play? I seriously want to know how someone can rank Zelda higher than DK...
It's EventHubs. For about a year, they had Meta Knight in, like, Bottom 5.

For reference, here are the tiers and their meaning:
S = 1-10.
A = 11-20.
B = 21-30.
C = 31-40.
D = 41-45.
E = 46-55 (Bottom 10).
F = Miis, who aren't included on the list.

Nobody knows, I just did this for fun.
The fuck are Link and Shulk doing in B Tier? And why is Bowser borderline worst in the game when it's been established that he's Mid Tier, around B Tier at best. Usually he's ranked around C Tier.
Short answer - EventHubs.
Long answer - It's a popularity contest basically, mixed with a hint of For Glory.
If it's based on popularity for the most part, then I've gotta question why Sonic is so high up then. Normally, yeah, he's ranked around like, 4-8 place for most people, but since most people hate Sonic, why isn't he lower?
Popularity probably equates to usage statistics in this context. It would also explain why Bayonetta's #1 even though everyone hates her.
Still doesn't explain Little Mac though.
Ganon is also a pretty popular character in Smash, so why isn't he higher?
Its like a tier list decided by what characters people feel are good. When Roy first came out and was dominating laggy for glory, he was at number 1.
Roy being higher than characters like Marth and Mewtwo made me chuckle.
A rule of thumb is that Eventhubs is a site run by stream monsters, for stream monsters.
Also, unlike other tier lists, where previous incarnations have no standing when it comes to updates, Eventhubs has gradual changes over time by open voting, with each vote taking effect instantly.
As a Falco main myself, I think Falco is way too high.
