With Fahkumram outside top 8 and Yoshimitsu ranked so high, Pokchop's Tekken 7 Season 3 tier list is turning some heads
He'll be discussing his decision making tonight
Tekken 7 is generally seen as one of the better balanced fighting games this generation — outside of a few key actors in recent times — which leads to a fairly wide range of opinions as to who stands among the best in the game.
Ricky 'Pokchop' Walker, One of the best players in the United States, recently released his Season 3 tier list for Tekken 7 which has opened up debate among other top competitors for some of his particular character rankings.
There's only one character that makes it into Pokchop's S tier which most players probably won't argue with which is Akuma for his amazing variety of options, ridiculous damage potential and the fact that he, and Geese to a similar extent, play a different game than the rest of the cast.
Leroy Smith is also still an amazingly strong character even after his nerfs landing him in A+ tier though some took issue with Fahkumram only being in A tier by comparison.
The stupidly tall Muay Thai fighter isn't as good as he used to be because of his mobility and difficulty side-stepping or avoiding incoming attacks now that his hurtboxes have been adjusted according to Pokchop though he still is obviously a threat.
Many may also find it surprising to see Yoshimitsu right up there by Fahkumram though Pokchop feels that the character still has a ton of potential in his tools that can be used to deal with a ton of different situations on top of having great mixup options.
Pokchop has been busy answering questions about his rankings on Twitter though he'll now be holding a stream later tonight on Twitch to break down his selections, so you can ask him directly about any disagreements you may have with his rankings.
