Avoid ues reputable company

They not bothered about what happens when you book with a company they advertise for flights just take there commission and you can just f off ! Yes more reputable companies like Google flights. As least they care when something goes wrong

No way to cancel thru Skyscanner

Making a reservation was fairly easy. However, I made a reservation then needed to change it. I tried every button on the website and even called Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa. There was no possible way to cancel my first reservation. So in the end, I paid for 2 tickets.

Thank you for your review - I'm sorry to see that after you made a reservation, it wasn't clear to you who to contact to have your ticket changed.

I can see from your booking details that you made a booking with one of our partners directly. Given that we are a search engine, you generally do not make bookings with us directly.

When you receive the email from us that confirms your booking request has been sent to our partner, this will advise you who to contact to make changes to your booking, or if you have any questions regarding your booking.

I can see however that this was neither Turkish Airlines nor Lufthansa, but rather Sunexpress: In this case, I would advise you to contact them at this point, so that you may request refund, where possible.

I'm really sorry this happened and I have passed your feedback on internally to make sure that we work on clarifying this for our users.

Best Flight site

I have always used Skyscanner for all my air travel. I find it is the most straightforward site, and very easy to use. Also in my experience it provides the most competitive prices of comparable sites

Simple and straight forward to search…

Simple and straight forward to search with a few key features of filtering such as changing the time rangea which is helpful for narrowing down your search and the deals found were lower than other sites.

Don’t purchase anything on that website. Scam

Used this web site for years and many flights and last time I checked insurance for flight delay due to my ticket not offering any flexibility. The flight was delayed and I missed connecting flight so instead had additional stop and 7h delay. The insurance was a scam. They didn’t pay and claimed only within 12h I can file which was not listed when purchased. Complete scam. I filed next day after arrival due to the stressful journey exceeding that tight time frame for claims. Nether the less they asked me in multiple emails going back and forth for evidence of the delay. I provided all even it was all on the records just to wist my time and pretend they would investigate. All provided they got back with same statement I missed the 12h window to file.

Misleading search results & ripoff from customers

This is the second time of having a bad experience while searching for flights.
Prices shown are never the correct price so when you actually go to book tickets with this price at the very end while confirming your booking it will say prices for this booking is up & would ask you if you want it on a higher price.
Another most annoying thing that happens is that when you complete your booking the price of the same flight will go down atleast by 15%.
So that means they are somehow making money by selling same thing at higher price, where people trust them for helping them out, indeed they are ripping people off.

Because we don’t set prices ourselves, it’s unfortunately not possible for us to guarantee the prices of airlines and travel agents.

A majority of these discrepancies are automatically corrected within several hours but sometimes there is a a problem with the prices being passed through to us to show by a provider, or there are technical reasons why the price is not represented accurately.

Sky scanner is great but the companies they represent are not

Sky scanner is great. But the companies they represent aren't. Travel up and travel trolly are very deceiving. They have great offer until you go to the website and they randomly keep putting the prices up and when you call them they say prices fluctuate even though I keep getting the same prices. Won't be using this and will go direct to an airline rather go through these 3rd party deceivers.

Stay away! They will rob you blind!

Use the Skyscanner website to get cheap flights, but never book tickets with Skyscanner! They made me buy a 2nd ticket for the same person at a much higher rate for a name change (which should have been allowed as per their conditions at the booking). They kept the refund for the first ticket! They said the name change was denied by Singapore Airlines, but there's no way to verify that information.

4 months for a refund

I had to wait for 4 month to get a refund from kiwi.

The companies that Skyscanner let you search through have become worst, to the point that they offer and let you buy tickets that they cannot possibly buy, and then they will not refund you until you complain like crazy.

Misleading information!!

I purchased a ticket through your app for Spirit airlines. Skyscanner app said that it included One checked bag and one carry-on in the price. This was the main reason that I made the purchase through Skyscanner. I even double checked that what I was reading was correct multiple times before proceeding. However after purchasing my tickets using your app I got an email confirming my flight but zero check bags and zero carry-on bags. The information was misleading and I had to end up paying an extra $120 for 1 checked bag and non carry on!! Very disappointed and I wish you would make this right.

I always use Skyscanner as a comparison…

I always use Skyscanner as a comparison site and have found the website easy to use. I can choose the company I wish to purchase my tickets from. If the actual Airline is listed I usually go directly to them, if not I will make my choice on the star rating.

Great ticket purchase and online check-in

I read the reviews just after having my tickets booked and they were bad ones. I frightened of having my money and flight lost. I got my tickets just in a hour and a half and an e-mail reminder of not losing my flight four hourls before boarding time. I had no problems with the check -in at all. Absolutely gratel

Quick and Easy way in which one can…

Quick and Easy way in which one can find the tickets along with the prices. The speed with which the information is available is very fast and skyscanner then takes you to the various service providers and you can choose anyone based on the ratings and prices. The prices offered are also cheaper than those on other similar sites. Overall a very good experience and will advise others to use Skyscanner……
