Aircraft info and baggage allowance…

Aircraft info and baggage allowance should be available before selecting or making a booking. Otherwise, it is just a waste of time. On the first attempt, I booked with TravelUp where baggage allowance showed 40kg and a day later Agent emailed that I am allowed 23kg. I refused to accept the offer as at the point of sale 40kg was published. Then 3 days later the ticket was cancelled. I lost a week and price due to the increase in price. I hope I will never use TravelUP.

I found it difficult to understand how…

I found it difficult to understand how to add on checked baggage and consequently ended up cancelling what I had booked
I lost £300 on the experience and wouldn’t use this website again unless the prices were more transparent and easy to follow

It’s just not fair that the provider (not necessarily Skyscanner but TravelTrolley) make no account for human error even if it’s noticed and tried to be rectified within hours
In what other walk of life would a customer make a genuine error because the terms and conditions were not clearly stated, try to correct the error within hours and be told you can’t correct it, you will have to cancel it and you will be charged £300 to do it

In terms of changes, cancellations or refunds, different airlines have different policies, which can also vary depending on the type of ticket you buy. The terms and conditions will always be stated in the booking process.

Skyscanner have a lot off company's…

Skyscanner have a lot off company's selling flights with bad reviews. Skyscanner should not have these company's listed. I feel sorry for people having problems with these kinda company's. I went and booked thorough airline and paid a few hundred pounds extra as the cheapest one's had very bad reviews on other review site's. Don't just check on trust pilot. Check other places like Facebook etc.

Something wrong at sky scanner

Something wrong at sky scanner. We phoned to book flights and asked for an agent to call us to assist us with a complex series of flights. The people that called us back were scammers posing as Star Alliance. Taken a deposit and final payment no tickets. Tickets appeared on BA initially when final payment was made then disappeared. Payments from credit card showed payment went to British airways but no tickets on ba reference number.

So far, so good

I’ve found many European hospitality sites have not been user-friendly as we’ve planned our upcoming trip. I found Skyscanner to be the best one I’ve used for our trip. I hope the good service continues with our flight occurring without problems.

Terrible trAvel agency

Travel agency confirmed our booking, took our money but a day later emailed us that they couldnt accept our payment and to wait two to three days for our money to be sent back.....i called and someone in India answered , they said they need a British credit card ! Crazy

The user interface is good

The user interface is good. It was east to navigate. The menu is logical. Very simple.

One thing I wonder is, who is your company? It would be nice to have an About Us button so that I learn more about your company

App kept crashing

Every time I went to go to my banking app to approve the transaction I’d go back to the app and it would go back the home page of the app. Had to do this 3 times. Luckily I never got charged more than once.

Extremely annoying.

More clear information on flight luggage and stop over.

More clear information on stop over flights, like does luggage need to be checked out and back in or is luggage transferred to destination.
When it says 30kg does it mean 1 bag 30 or 2 bag one with 23kg and other with 7kg??

Absolutely shocking experience!

Absolutely shocking experience using Skyscanner. I tried 4 times to book flights to South Africa and still to this day am listed on a Virgin Flight ( have spoken to Virgin who were happy to assist) but have been unable to pay so unable to complete on the processing of my tickets. Skyscanner I believe get discounted tickets from the airlines but do not often honour the pricing that you will see advertised on their site.
No matter how many credit cards I used (all with more than enough available on them) my payment was not processed and the site kept taking me back t the Pay page. I have logged a number of support tickets online and have also emailed their help desk with screenshots of the flights, seats booked, the Virgin booking reference number that they can see on their as well as the ticket pricing I was shown but 5 days later have still had no response from anyone from Skyscanner.

Found flight I wanted

Looking for Business Flight to Australia to see my daughter, having bee restricted due to COVID regulations. Through Skyscanner I found the ideal flight which suited all my needs, which has now been finalised.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. Skyscanner linked us to nz.mytrip.com to book our tickets. Mytrip were incredibly difficult to deal with after connecting flights were cancelled, call centre staff were rude, unhelpful and incompetent, I was hung up on no fewer than five times.

Ultimately we were unable to travel on our ticket due to it being issued incorrectly and we were unable to check in for our flight. As a result we had to rebook at late notice directly through the airline for over twice the initial cost.

It took months and a heated exchange of emails to finally get refunded by them. We are still out of pocket however due to having to rebook at short notice.

Even though the third party was at fault here, I wish to strongly advise against anyone using any third party they are linked to by skyscanner.net.

Sneaky

Sneaky! Selected the dates with the cheapest prices for a flight for £280 each (so it should be £560 total) but I can't get a price cheaper than £660 when I select view deal!

Sneaky Clickbaiting tactics! You Shouldn't give prices & then add on whatever sneaky charges after. You should Clearly display the prices in full!
