Welcome to the Perth Cricket Association web site. Here you will find information about the PCA, our competition, latest news and relevant documentation to download.
The PCA was formed in August 1997 through the amalgamation of the Metropolitan Cricket Association (MCA) and the Perth Mercantile Cricket Association (PMCA). Each of these Associations had existed in their own right for near 100 years prior to their amalgamation and have bought a great deal of tradition to the new association. The PCA is affiliated to the West Australian Cricket Association (WACA) responsible for overall cricket management in WA together with administration of pennant and elite level matches. The PCA focuses itself on the game at the Suburban Level and aims to provide the best possible opportunities, facilities and support for individuals and clubs at that level. The structure of the PCA provides for a wide range of competition tiers aimed at encouraging as wide as possible participation by players of all levels. The PCA competition is primarily based in the inner northern and eastern areas of the Perth metropolitan area and also competes with teams drawn from the entire Perth region.
Through a process of continuous innovation and development in conjunction with its member clubs the PCA aims to become the best suburban cricket competition in Perth.
