HCP is backed by highly experienced and skilled past and present staff.

• Dave Holt - M.E., Mem ASME, Principal HCP, Mechanical Engineer and Project Co-ordinator. Over 30 years in project development, project management and engineering, chiefly in offshore oil and gas, process plant and power generation fields. His background includes ICI Australia, Australian Atomic Energy Commission and Woodside Offshore Petroleum. Recent assignments have included rotating machinery consultant to Woodside, technical consultant to OMV Australia and front end engineering for various gas plant, gas turbine and compression facilities developments.
  
  
• Robert Weir - CEng., MIMechE. PhD, is a mechanical engineer with over 25 years in machinery engineering, offshore facilities design and process plant maintenance in UK, Australia/New Zealand and South East Asia. Assignments included the start-up of the Synthetic Fuels plant in New Zealand, supervision of maintenance on a catalytic cracker in the UK and on a refinery in the middle East. His most recent assignment was with the Cakerawala gas project, offshore Malaysia, as the client’s rotating machinery engineer and adviser to the maintenance department.
  
  
• Mike Kelly - is a mechanical engineer with over fifteen years industrial plant experience, covering fabrication, construction, commissioning and asset maintenance management. His background includes project engineering and commissioning on the GGT gas pipeline project, then as project manager for design and construction of a modular gas/condensate plant on Varanus Is. and with Fluor as their Site Manager at Argyle Diamond Mine. Mike has been the on-site project engineer and completions manager for OMV on the Patricia Baleen gas plant project in Victoria.
  
  
• Mike Wills - C. Eng, MIMech E UK Project Manager / Contracts manager. Mike has over 30 years experience in oil and gas and minerals processing industries as construction manager, project manager or contracts administrator on major projects. Recognised as being very astute on contractual issues. Mike has been OMV’s resident construction superintendent for the Patricia-Baleen gas plant project. He is currently assisting a British company with power station developments in SE Asia.
  
  
• Darren Holt - BE (Mech.) Mechanical engineer with over 12 years experience in piping and machinery, project management, construction management and safety case validation for offshore and onshore petroleum facilities. His background includes completion and commissioning on several Victorian onshore gas plants and offshore platforms plus lead design and construction validation for onshore pipelines, pipeline facilities, offshore platforms, gas plants and subsea pipelines and facilities.
  
  
• Jake DeBoer - MSc (Chem Eng.) B.Comm. Principal Consultant specialising in synfuels project development, Fischer-Tropsch technology, coal gasification, alternative / renewable energy and implementation strategy and management. He was previously with Sasol Technology based in Johannesburg, South Africa. His role as Manager of New Ventures Assessment in this US$6b global petrochemical company included identifying, analysing, developing and implementing new business opportunities across Sasol.
