Networking to survive stalking
Networking to survive stalking
******************************
If you are a victim of stalking, consider confiding in several
trusted friends or relatives who are sympathetic to helping you
through the ordeal.
Also visit
The Network for Surviving Stalking
and keep a diary of daily problems you have with the stalker. Keep police informed of what is happening
on an ongoing basis as in visiting your local police station and filling in a report in the counter
book if the problems are becoming borderline criminal (especially if you cannot prove it is the stalker).
For any property damage, report this to the police too and ask for a report number each time.
Stalking is a crime that should never be faced alone. Networking will give the victim more
chance of coping with different events that arise during the ordeal as well as providing
moral support.
