My Dad was a wonderful man who I miss every day. He died suddenly of a heart attack on the 4th of  December 1999 but he still lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

My Dad had a wonderful sense of humour and always looked on the bright side of every situation. He enjoyed big cars, all sports (to watch, not play), bingo, swimming, the beach and putting in his own endings to movies. He taught me that love and tolerance go hand in hand and that despite all it's flaws the world is still a beautiful place.

Light a candle for hope,
for remembrance.
No matter where you are
or what holiday it is
Light a candle for Love
- it is the greatest
light of all.

~~ When Somebody Dies ~~

A cloud turns into an angel,
and flies up to tell God to put another flower on a pillow.
A bird gives the message back to the world,
and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry.
People disappear, but they never really go away.
The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up grass,
and spin the earth in dizzy circles.
Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during
the day-time, when they're supposed to be sleeping.
They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets
and make waves splash and tug at the tide.
They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes.
And when they sing wind-songs, they whisper to us,
don't miss me too much.
The view is nice and I'm doing just fine.

A father is someone you can look up to no matter how tall you are.
