When home, remove approx 20-25
mm from the base of tree, as sap forms a film very quickly & needs
to be removed to help with the up take of water.
Place your tree in your tree stand as soon as possible & fill
with water.
Many trees use up to 2–3 litres of water on the first day
& need a top up every day or so (keep an empty soft drink bottle
handy as this is ideal for filling the tree stand).
