This website is primarily for the Class of '64. We are happy to add other years to our site but space for photos is not unlimited so please do not be offended if all photos sent to us are not included. Unless the background is important for whatever reason, we will usually crop to just the people in the photo and resize to no larger than 550 pixels high. We only put jpegs on the pages and are not able to use pdf files. A bmp file is a format that is much too big to deal with, so please convert your files to jpeg before sending them to us. Please crop your photos. We have at times received images that are straight from the scanner where the image only takes up a small corner and the rest is blank space. It all adds to bandwidth usage. It pleases us immensely that our pages have resulted in many Rectonians finding each other. To this end, we try to present the pages in such a way as to enable search engines to do their job. A name on a picture is not going to be found by a search engine. It must be in text. In using names, you should consider what names the searcher looking for you will use. They are unlikely to know or use your married name. If you have success and let us know for inclusion in these pages, it could be just the name someone else will find that will lead to more. A short lesson on searching: To put Leah Castro into Google (March 2010) produced 1,270,000 hits. Google is searching for any page that contains those two words. So a page that contained the sentence Fidel Castro has a horse called Leah would be one of the hits. A search for "Leah Castro" is a search for that phrase and still produces 4400 hits, but they will be far more relevant.
