G'day!

I've been with the Water Corporation since October '07. It's a pro active forward looking organisation with a great internal culture that's positive, caring, mature and responsible. As a water sign myself, I feel like I've come home.

I worked for Centrelink, the Australian unemployment and pension office, from Feb 2006 to Oct 07. Challenging, and with a feeling like I was really doing something useful, and with a bunch of great colleagues.

I worked in the support call centre at iiNet for nearly two years before that.   It was great!  Challenging, interesting and satisfying, but eventually I left for a different challenge and more money.

The kids are growing quickly and beautifully. I'll update all the details shortly :-)  Everything else below still stands. :-)

The Bomb killed it really. We returned to Australia at the end of April after 2 years in Bali.  I hope to add some details of this to my Indonesian Adventure story soon.  Meanwhile our first trip back there was in October/November 2004 and is online in a rough form already.

I used to work at the ABC in Perth, Western Australia, as a cameraman, video editor and sound recordist.  I joined them in Feb 1983 and left in a redundancy drive in Feb 1991.   I loved working on Outside Broadcasts (music, sport, other culture), but mostly we did news in WA.

From March 2001 until the end of April 2003 I took the family to Bali. I had work which almost paid the bills until the bombing in 2002, which dried up employment prospects and put so many out of work. Suffice to say that living and working in Bali isn't a holiday, but boy is it an education.

I wrote a short story to go with my pictures of Indonesia, which started on a link from Budi Rahardjo's Indonesian Homepage

I had a part time web design business called Contact Net Services, which still exists but is in hibernation.  It may even be for sale at the right price.
