Insane Moto GP Tipping Competition - Rules
Guide-lines and Rules for Moto GP Tipping.

1) This is a Leaderboard style competion.
Not a 1st past the post as in Footy or Gee-gees.

2) Select 5 riders in each of the 18 rounds of the Current MotoGP season.
Choose them all now (pre-season), or round by round allowing for the fluxing of the season to influence your selections.

3) DO NOT select 1st place.
Attempt to select the 5 riders (in any order) you believe will place 2nd thru 6th.

(This will score you the best points allocation of 70 points in each round; 1260 for a perfect season).

4) Riders 2nd thru 15th are awarded points.
Points are awarded as;
2nd=20, 3rd=16, 4th=13, 5th=11, 6th=10, 7th=9, 8th=8, 9th=7, 10th=6, 11th=5, 12th=4, 13th=3, 14th=2 & 15th=1.
(16th - nth = 0 points)

5) If one of your selected riders finishes in first place, you will score zero, zip, zilch points for that rider.
Your remaining 4 riders will receive points based on their finishing position.

6) Tips can to be emailed direct or submitted via the web page.

7) Tips will be accepted until 1.5 hrs prior to the GP race start time, as indicated at MotoGP.com

8) The webpage will be updated shortly after the race is over so Tipsters can check to see how their (and others) tipping is progressing.

9) Each round of the season will be allocated a *default* selection of riders.
These riders are selected from the final QUALIFYING race and are the 5 riders to qualify in positions 11 to 15.

10) Any Player who has not submitted tips for the current round will be allocated the *default* set of tips. (aka Bunky)

11) A once only "ante" of $20 will be accepted from any Player who wishes to "value add" to the seasons tipping.
Season prizes will be allocated as; 1st=50%, 2nd=30% & 3rd=20% of the Kitty.
Contact me directly for banking details to deposit your ante.

12) The winner and subsequent placings, are decided on aggregate totals for the season.

13) In the event of equal placings the kitty for that place and subsequent places will be combined and divided equally amongst the players concerned.
2 players equal 1st will result in the 1st and 2nd place winnings being added and divided equally as half each.
2 players equal 2nd will result in the 2nd and 3rd place winnings being added and divided equally as half each.
2 players equal 3rd will result in the 3rd place winnings being divided equally as half each.
