Installation Instructions

1. We have included some sample newsletters that you can download and read on your computer or print them. These documents require the software program called Adobe Acrobat PDF Reader to be installed on your computer. This software is FREE and can be downloaded from the page you are now viewing. To download Adobe Acrobat Reader:-
   
2. Click the Get Acrobat Reader icon. This will take you to the Adobe site which explains what the program does and how to download it.
   
3. The first step is to register your details, which is optional. Once you have completed registering, you can go back to the previous page by clicking ‘back’ on the toolbar in the top left hand corner of the Netscape program.
   Then choose ACROBAT (R) Reader 3.0 in the first box, choose WINDOWS 95 (R) or WINDOWS 3:1 (R) or any other operating program your computer is running under in the 2nd box. You may choose another language, however we assume you would choose English for the 3rd box.
   
4. Then click the 'download' button towards the bottom of the page. This will take you to another page where you choose from two links. Try DOWNLOAD or 32e 30.exe via FTP first and then the second link if you have problems.
   
5. If you find it too difficult to download the software in this way, we can post you a copy on a 3.5" disk for a small fee to cover costs. Once the program has been downloaded, you will need to install it on your ‘C’ drive. To do this, you need to make a note of the file name (ar32e30.exe).
   
6. Close down your Netscape program by choosing File and then Exit. Also close all other Windows programs.
   
7. Under your Windows Start Menu, go to FIND and choose FILES or FOLDERS. In the box ‘Named’ type: ar32e30.exe, then click ‘find now’. This will result in the file details being listed in the lower box.
   
8. Double click the highlighted file ar32e30 and this will take you to Install Shield Self-extracting .EXE where you can choose to install Adobe Acrobat Reader. Follow the instructions for installation.
   
9. Once you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, return to Netscape and open our site. You may then choose ‘download page’ to bring up the newsletter icons ‘Market Dynamics’ and ‘Share Alert’.
   
10. Choose the publication you wish to view by clicking the icon. This will bring up Unknown File Type where you need to choose save file. Make a note of the name of the file you are saving so that you can find the file and then choose ‘save’. You may save this file in a location of your choice, for example, you may save it under Word for Windows or Microsoft Works or a location you have created. Look at your choices in the ‘Save In’ box.
    
11. The advantage of saving these files in a known location is, it is quicker to find the file and then open it. If all your files are saved under a location called ‘Download ’ for instance, you can quickly go to File Manager or Explorer and open the file by double clicking.
    
12. You can now read our newsletter on your computer or print it out. Before printing you may like to check Print Setup under File to set the correct paper size. You may also need to set the printout to 300 DPI otherwise your printer may not print out the full document.
