Regular visitors to www.shaddowland.net will notice a few changes to the site. The long overdue refresh has taken place and hopefully the site is a little easier to navigate and better on the eyes. Observant people will notice the addition of a twitter feed on the far right; now you can keep up with the day-to-day goings on and get the occasional snippet of new stories as they form.

Now for the stories. I have finally finished Deus Ex: Gladius and it is submitted for your reading pleasure. This novella continues the adventures of Deus Ex as set up in Deus Ex Libris. You don’t have to have read Ex Libris first but it might help with some of the back story. As always I would love to hear comments, suggestions and publishing offers.

From now on you will be able to download my short stories/novellas in ePub format. Starting with Ex Libris and Ex Gladius - simply go to the story’s page and click on the ‘ePub’ link on the side to download your own copy to use on your personal eReader of choice. Usual copyright conditions apply.

The future looks good for writing. I will be concentrating on trying to finish The Ordeal this year; I have the sequel to The White Goose - Winters End in progress; a new and different story by the name of Cadence, and of course the next thrilling chapter in the Deus Ex series - Deus Ex Mentis. Lots of writing and lots of challenges ahead.

Also, I am available for design work if you are looking for a new logo, brochure, print media or a simple website - look no further!

It’s been a while between drinks but I have been busy. You may notice a few minor changes to the site, I’m still tweaking the design but hopefully the readability of the site has improved.

My latest design work has been added (www.sbdance.com.au) as well as a few logos and new poster designs. I am also experimenting with epub downloads of my short stories.

Where are the stories Edward? you may be asking, well, I’m 90% through Ex Gladius and hope to have it finished end of next month, and I am hoping to have a very different story ready for a competition in September.

For now you’ll just have to re-read the old favourites, or ask me to design a logo for you!
