Glen Beard Airspares is a small, family owned business supplying aircraft spare parts all over Western Australia and various other places throughout Australia. GBAS is owned and operated by Glen and his wife, Daphne.
Glen first started working on Jandakot Airport in 1968. After several years with Beech and Cessna Dealers, Glen founded Piper West Parts. Many years later he established the Airflite Cessna Parts Department. Glen opened GBAS in 1987.
During his 30+ years in Aviation, Glen formed very close working relationships with several of his clients, which inevitably evolved into personal friendship - something that isn't always seen these days with so little face-to-face communication. Something that Glen values in his life, apart from his family, is seeing his business succeed, and giving his customers the satisfaction they deserve. With the state of the aircraft industry being so shaky, he knows only too well there is no time to be unreliable - people still value good customer service, and by dealing with Glen, you can be assured of getting that service.
In 2010 Glen and Daphne made the big decision to move their office & supplies store from Jandakot Airport to their home in Yangebup, just a couple of suburbs away.
