Our history

St Paul’s Catholic Church was officially blessed by the Auxiliary Bishop of Perth, John Joseph Rafferty, on the Feast of Christ the King, Sunday 27th October, 1957. Since then, St Paul’s has grown and flourished as a modest faith-filled community, served by a total of 8 parish priests over a period of 50 years. These priests are:

On Sunday 25th November 2007, the Feast of Christ the King, St Paul’s celebrates its Golden Jubilee. Archbishop Hickey will celebrate this significant event with a concelebrated Mass in the church. Past parish priests Fathers Brian O’Loughlin and Greg Donovan, as well as our “local identity” Fr Pat Cunningham, will join us for the jubilee celebrations as will many parishioners past and present.
