Highway/Alexander Road Interchange (Main Roads). Determined lane configuration for
Main Roads during the pre-tender stage.

Highway/Orrong Road Interchange (Main Roads and John Holland). Determined lane configuration for
Main Roads during the pre-tender stage and later confirmed turn lane
lengths and signal phasing for John Holland.

Highway Stage 6, Nicholson Road to South Street (Main Roads WA). Determined lane configurations for
interchanges and adjoining intersections on Willeri Drive and South Street. Assessed traffic impacts on the
adjoining road system.

Highway Stages 4 and 5, Welshpool Road to Nicholson Road (Main Roads WA and
City of Canning). Analysed
traffic forecast data and produced lane configurations for interchanges and
various intersections on Orrong Road, Welshpool Road, and Nicholson Road.

Highway Stages 4/5, Welshpool Road to Nicholson Road (Bruechle Gilchrist
& Evans/Main Roads).
Provided technical advice to Main Roads in traffic safety, safety
barriers, shared paths, traffic management, intersection operation and
traffic signs.

Waikiki and Mandurah Stations; Package C (JCY/New MetroRail). Main traffic engineering consultant
for the design and documentation of the Rockingham, Waikiki and Mandurah
Stations to be constructed for the Perth-Mandurah railway. Involves analysis and design of
roads, car parks and shared paths for cars, buses, pedestrians and
cyclists.

Orrong
Road Planning Review (Department of Planning). Preparation of briefs and ongoing
project management for future planning of Orrong Road.
- Stephenson Highway Review (Department of
Transport). Carried out traffic modelling and assessment as part of a
study to examined the possible removal of all or part of the
Stephenson Highway reservation between West Coast Highway and Osborne
Park.
- Fremantle to Cottesloe Transport Plan (Department
of Transport). Analysis of road proposals for the Fremantle to
Cottesloe Transport Plan between Tydeman Road and Wellington Street.
- Araluen Park Strategic Review (Department of
Planning and Infrastructure). Transport study to address roads,
traffic and parking issues for the park and adjacent land and
recommend improvements that are required for its future development.
- Tonkin Highway/Roe Highway Abernethy Road
Interchange (Main Roads WA/Egis Consulting). Prepared a planning
report describing the revisions to the interchange configuration that
can be used as a basis for an amendment to the Metropolitan Region
Scheme.
- Metropolitan Regional Network Plan, 2001/02 to
20010/11 (Main Roads WA). Prepared the report on the Regional Network
Plan for the Perth Region containing the future funding requirements
to manage the National Highway and State Road system over the next 10
years.
- Paramics Model Reviews (Main Roads WA). Reviewed
traffic planning reports prepared using the Paramics model by HGM on
the Armadale Redevelopment Area and by Sinclair Knight Merz on Reid
Highway through Carine.

Studies
- St John's Superlot, Northbridge (East Perth
Redevelopment Authority/Sinclair Knight Merz). Parking and traffic
study to assess the parking requirements on the St John's Superlot and
the potential to install embayed parking along Newcastle Street.
- Northbridge Parking and Access Study (City of
Perth/Sinclair Knight Merz). Prepared and evaluated alternative
parking and access strategies to serve the needs of Northbridge.
- East Perth Redevelopment Area Parking Strategy
(East Perth Redevelopment Authority/Sinclair Knight Merz). Prepared a
strategy which addressed the location and size of future off-street
public site public car parks and on-street parking restrictions.
Amendments to the Redevelopment Scheme and Policies were also included
as part of the strategy proposals.
- East
Perth Major Sporting Facilities Parking and Access Study (East Perth
Redevelopment Authority). Project Manager responsible for coordinating
a study into parking requirements for the WACA and Gloucester Park.

guide signing scheme and designed all direction signs associated with
the contract works.

areas. The guidelines
described the selection of destination and route names, types of
direction signs and sign layout and were developed following an
examination of signing practices used in Australia and overseas.
- Service and Tourist Signs (Main Roads WA). Prepared policies and guideline
on service and tourist signs.

Level Crossings
- Railway Crossing Protection in WA Policy and
Guidelines (Main Roads WA). Prepared and revised various sections in
the manual.
- Railway Crossing Investigations (Main Roads WA).
Carried out a crash investigation, a review of the level of protection
and signs and a safety audit at railway crossings on South Coast
Highway, Esperance; Yarramony Road, Northam; Great Eastern Highway,
Merredin; Lennard Street, Herne Hill; Denny Avenue, Kelmscott;
Lymburner Road, Wagin; South Western Highway, Albany; York-Williams Road,
Beverley; Sandalwood Road, Benger; Mornington Road, Wokalup; King
Road, Oldbury; Armadale Road, Armadale; and Toodyay-Bindi Bindi Road,
