A C Acting and the writing and setting are extraordinary!! Thank you for a beautiful film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/08/23 Full Review Joseph F This is a story about a young and uppity architect who is still finding himself after he cancels his wedding to a girl in the same upper middle class level. The girl, his house help, is from the lower class but she has the guts and intelligence to make it in the big city. And somehow, love will find a way. This is such a simple yet profound story of two people from different classes of society falling in love. The ending scene, which was so simple, can't give away, was perfect. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/06/23 Full Review Andrew H H Such a buoyant and airy film, with decent camera work and location shots, thrown in. The male lead is a little wooden, however. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/31/23 Full Review Sanjeev V One of the best movies I ever saw !!! Tillotama Shome is one of the finest actress .Vivak Gomber also did a great performance !!! Great direction by Rohena Gera !! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/21/23 Full Review Ravi T I found this movie randomly on Netflix and I'm glad I did. I really enjoyed it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review SFL Subtle. Acting was spot. Location was amazing. Beautiful story. Can feel slow but be patient. It's 99 min and everything has its place. It takes until the last word of the movie to tie it all up. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Radheyan Simonpillai NOW Toronto If you take away the slow-brewing attraction that serves as an appealing logline, you still have a mighty fine picture about a village girl who wants to defy the patriarchy and stand on her own two feet in the city. Rated: 4/5 Apr 23, 2019 Full Review Brad Wheeler Globe and Mail The film, from Indian screenwriter and documentary director Rohena Gera, is well-paced and properly sentimental. Rated: 3/4 Apr 18, 2019 Full Review Maggie Lee Variety A Cinderella tale of sorts, the film nonetheless gains gravity for its insight into Indian social rigidities that tether both impoverished villagers and well-heeled urbanites. May 17, 2018 Full Review Ishita Sengupta The Indian Express With Is Love Enough? Sir, Rohena Gera desists viewing togetherness as love’s end goal, gently uncovering the gifts of being in it instead. Rated: 3/4 Aug 26, 2022 Full Review Proma Khosla Mashable Sir is a cinematic triumph. Gera and Shome compromise nothing in a full and poignant portrayal of India's working class, without turning Ashwin and his social strata into caricatures of wealthy, Anglicized demons. Mar 5, 2021 Full Review Renuka Vyavahare The Times of India Director Rohena Gera's... comprises exquisite moments. Rated: 4/5 Dec 3, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
