Which have fabulous variety of topics and changing subjects. I was surprised how cool the temperature was in the gardens.Hello! - asthecrowsfly2Melbourne, Australia219 contributionsLong walks but beautiful! We visited Gardens by the Bay in May 2023. These gardens comprise several attractions with long walks in between. We visited the OCBC Skyway, Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. The Skyway was wonderful! We spent quite a while looking at the Supertree installations and how creative and artistic they are. They are really quite extraordinary! Each of the attractions is a separate cost to visit. The Flower Dome and Cloud Forest are opposite each other, but quite a walk from the OCBC Skyway. It's a pretty walk through the area, particularly if you enjoy botanic gardens.Hello! Thank you for the valuable review. we are glad you had a great time at the Gardens. - Kathi MGisborne, New Zealand34 contributionsWell worth the expense but can go for free to majorityLoved this place. You can wander around and see all the main gardens without cost. I paid to see the flower dome which was amazing and also to go up a "tree" to observation deck. Incredible views and the lift up has to be seen. Make sure you take the stairs to the very top. And book to go to Spagos in the Marina view building after for a nibble and even better view from 57th floor.Hello! Thank you for the valuable review. we are glad you had a great time at the Gardens. It was worth visiting and had a wonderful day especially at the Cloud Forest. But I think it would be better to visit there at night time as we missed the light shows and plans to have 1 more trip which I would like to cover that during night time.Must Visit.Hello! - Leah RBrevard, North Carolina12 contributionsNot to be missed!!What a fabulous place! You can walk around the gardens for free - there are a few attractions that you must book and pay for. They are well worth it! We visited the gardens by the bay on two separate days as there is so much to see. I recommend going early in the morning as it does get very hot and humid. We did return at night to see the free light show - fabulous! And we were lucky to see the animal sculptures "Love the Last March" that will be there through May 2024.Hello! Although there are plenty of things to see and enjoy in the outdoor public spaces, the indoor gardens and adjacent 'Cloud Forest' are well worth the price of admission. An added bonus is that the gardens are air conditioned and a welcome retreat from the oppressive heat and humidity that is found in Singapore!Hello! Everything is well maintained and clean, and it makes for some great photos. We visited during the evening to catch the light show in the supertrees. Unfortunately, the Supertree Grove was not accessible due to the a ticket Christmas fair so we could only watch from the outside. The lightshow as ok, nothing to shout about but perhaps we missed the full experience not being closer and not being able to hear the music.
We had dinner at Satay by the Bay. It was hot and smoky and my food from a seafood stall took so long to be ready that my companions had finished their food by the time mine arrived. I would not recommend eating here if you can help it.
Upon leaving, we wanted to take a taxi but unfortunately the queue was so long and I overheard a guy asking a group of tourist in front of me if they wanted to take a private transfer as taxis could take at least an hour. All of the taxis I could see were either flashing "On call" or "Shift Change".
So we decided to take a 20 min walk to the Bayfront MRT. What a mess it was, even to buy an MRT ticket. And the MRT staff who was supposed to be assisting didn't tell people in the queue that the ticketing machine only took $2 or $5 and we had to go and get a change. The MRT counter initially didn't want to assist in breaking up our $10 note, which would have left us stranded.
All in all, have your transport game plan sussed out before visiting. and plan to eat before or after.

This is free and the most amazing thing to do. It really is just magical. We went through the day, it was nice but nothing breathtaking. Although as it turns dark this place is just so incredible. It literally sends shivers down your spine it is so unreal. As t turns dark there is music and all the tress light up in line with the music. It is just unreal and moving. We paid a very small amount to walk the sky walk, you are above the trees and have a great view, although it is just as good on the ground looking up! There are two light shows per night and we stayed for both, one on the sky walk looking down and one on the floor looking up, both equally amazing. There are places to eat here too, mainly fast food but very very cheap! This was the most amazing thing to do - if in any doubt just do it - but make sure you visit at night to see the light shows.

I am not a plant person and I love Gardens by the Bay. First time visit even though I'm from Singapore... I went during the Christmas period so there were a lot more displays to see.
Stayed for over 3 hours exploring all the different exhibits including the Flower Dome etc. Went back in the evening on another day to see the Christmas Wonderland and the light show.
A good tip! If you're short on time and want to make your money's worth, go in the late afternoon...! That way you get to explore the place in the day, have dinner and continue exploring at night all for 1 single price!!! Most exhibits allows for re-entry, except for the Skypark.
So go to that place last, just before sunset to take photos of the city and stay there for a little longer to have a bird's eye view of the city lights and the light show on the Super Trees!

This fantastic area is located by the harbour front in Singapore and well worth a visit of at least 2-3 hours plus of you go later in the day, stay for the sound and light show where many of the sculptures are lit up with varying colours and patterns to the background of beautiful opera and music. There is an entry fee which varies on the number of sites you visit – we did two – the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. Both were amazing and truly beautiful in terms of size, colours, architecture, and gardens plus plants from all around the world, all under cover in these sites. There are huge waterfalls, spectacular indeed, and a fascinating display of orchids plus great areas of sculptures and statues dispersed amongst the gardens. It is all air conditioned and a very good place to escape the heat and humidity of Singapore. You can buy a ticket to use a mini train that takes you around the park but in fact we probably would have been better just to walk around ourselves. You can hire an audio guide but we were short of time and did not do this, we cannot comment on that aspect. Everything is however well laid out and signed and you can follow the guided paths very easily. There are good cafes around the site with excellent snack food and drinks.

There is no cost to walking around the Gardens by the Bay exterior gardens.
The Dome Gardens have an entry cost for each separate dome.
Purchase your trolley cart bus ride ticket at this time
Flower Dome: Was decorated in all its Christmas glory.
Christmas Nordic Gnome Themed scenarios everywhere.
Everyone was oohing & aahing as they walked around
Cloud Forest Dome: the minute you walk in and see the waterfall in all its glory.
There are different levels in this dome with different experiences and views of the dome's floral and fauna species
There are great garden sculptures and phenomenal driftwood carved sculptures.
This dome is worth experiencing!
The Super Grove Light Show:
Get there early and claim a place to sit
Many people lay on the concrete beneath the tree structures waiting for the light show
The light show is approx 15 mins long. The lights and lasers are in sync with the music
It was an awesome show and experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it.....Don't miss it!
After the light show there are huge crowds all walking back towards the city.
Get to the Trolley Cart bus quickly and queue for the bus (if you purchased a ticket) Its a quick couple of minute ride instead of walking back in the crowds.

This is a truly wonderful area. We visited the Bay in late January during the day. The area is huge however there are shuttle busses to get you around if you want to use them. We walked! Seemed like a good idea, but Singapore is hot and very humid so you need to find shade and drink water.
The area is full of interesting quirky statues plus the very tall metal tulip shaped towers which are covered in plants. The tallest tower has a lift to the top (extra cost) the views are great 360deg over the gardens, the bay and city. There is also a “canopy walkway” (extra cost) but well worth it, after all you will only do it once!
After all that there are the two domes, flower and cloud. Don’t miss either of them, one benefit is that it’s cool inside! The flower dome is divided up into areas of the world. Showing off the fauna and flowers of each. The central area while we were there was a riot of colour using dahlias amongst other plants. The cloud dome has a very high waterfall falling down a plant covered “mountain”. This has a lift to the top and numerous walkways on the way down. I cannot describe the landscape you really do need to see for yourself.
You won’t be disappointed.
There is a cafe/restaurant in the park to give you sustenance in various cuisines and a break from the heat.

We visited the gardens both in the day and at night. In the day we only did the sky walk which was around S$8 pp giving great views on the gardens and city. It was a wonderful experience to see the Garden Rhapsody in the evening at 7:45pm / 8:45pm. My favourite place we visited when in Singapore and would highly recommend both visiting in the day and evening.

Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant !
This man-made master piece lives up to the the hype and offers a beautiful experience worth the lifetime.
The Musical Light Show is spectacular and if you fail to get a ticket (limited tickets makes it impossible to accommodate everyone so please book it way in advance) to observe it from the viewing deck
The light show takes place twice every night and is on for 15 minutes. The first show is on at 7:45pm and the second is on at 8:45pm. An extra show on Holidays is added, for which you'll have check on their official website (usually a 9.45pm show) .
There are many spots to see this beauty but our favorite (and Highly recommended) was to lie down on the concrete circles supporting the Garden Towers called Super tree Groves an hour prior to the show as they fill-in fast.
Others being:
From above, on the skywalk of Marina Bay Sands Hotel, decent view minus the music
On the promenade by the Dragonfly Lake, at the park entrance between Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay.
The Deck / Skywalk exactly above the public loo overlooking the Super tree Groves (have some steps to climb up)
Other than that there are observatories like Cloud Forest, Flower Forest Dome which are worth the dime.
Numerous sculptures and and arts installed in beautiful corners are worth enjoying.
Restaurants are plenty but standards aren't that great so would suggest to stick to McDs in the Garden.

Alight from Station Bayfront MRT and walk to Garden By The Bay, this stretch of walk is not sheltered and can be quite hot when it is bright sunny day. Garden By The Bay is free entrance, but there are 2 conservatories that need ticket to enter, Flower Dome & Cloud Forest. Certain areas are quite cooling, elderly might need extra clothing.

We visited the gardens at night to get most of the light show, which is beautiful. The light show takes place every 45 mins and it gets very busy. Best way to see it is to find a spot in the middle of the tree sculptures and lay down on the floor. You can walk around a lot of the gardens free of charge, any attractions such as the viewing platform, sky bridge, cloud dome or flower dome are extra charge. If bought together, it’s cheaper.

Yes you have time. You could get a ‘grab’ SE Asia version of Uber. Download the app - easy use. You can also use the MRT, tap on and off using your credit card.

Bonjour,
Combien de temps faut il compter pour visiter Gardens by the Bay, parties gratuites, plus OCBC Skyway, Cloud Forest et Flowers Dome.
Merci pour vos réponses.
Hi. We are wanting to head to Gardens By the Bay to look at the domes before watching the light show. How long will we need to give ourselves to see them?

I would set the day aside. Go to the one dome in the morning, have lunch at Satay by the Bay, then do the next dome in the afternoon, then see the lights in the evening.

I'm confused by the ticketing. If I buy Cloud Forest and Floral Dome ticket online, do I also need to buy an admission ticket to the entire Gardens of the Bay in order to access Cloud Forest and Floral Dome? Or is admission to the Gardens of the Bay included in all the other tickets? Cheers.

The Gardens By The Bay is free and very big (need most of the day to walk around it). You then by a combined entry to the Cloud Forest and Floral or a single ticket to either but it is more expensive. There are other attractions where you have to buy a ticket to such as the Floral Fantasy, Supertree Observatory, Skyway Walk, etc. I really recommend the Floral Fantasy and the Cloud Forest.

What time should we get there if we wanted to experience cloud forest and the floral garden and then the light show afterwards?
BarryM
Melbourne, Australia336 contributions
The Cloud Forest and Floral Garden you can get there anytime although if you got there in the morning you might miss a crowd. I was there during the week early afternoon and had no big crowd. When I was there the light show had 2 sessions at 7.45pm and 8.45pm. It runs for about 15 minutes although the gardens are always lit up at night. There is plenty to see walking around the gardens, day or night.

The Gardens themselves arent ticketed entry - certain parts within have tickets but Tripadvisor treats these as separate attractions.
Currently all the permanent ticketed attractions have Adults as over 12, Children as 3-12 and under 3s being non-ticketed. So so far as I read their rules, you can take your 11month old in with paying adults for free. None of the main items (Domes, Floral Fantasy or Skywalk seem to prohibit infants - and thats the sort of text you need to check on if they think an infant is at risk on entering).
Temporary exhibits will vary and depend upon their specific rules.

As many have stated the government are on top of this in Singapore. Most hotels take your temp on entry, hand sanitiser everywhere, hardly any visitors, none from China or Korea that we noticed.

The two Domes (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest) have an entry ticket of $28 Singapore (be advised the two domes are climate cooled) and there is a separate entry ticket for the Skyway (not sure how much but less expensive). The rest of the gardens are free and the evening light shows are great.
