We both ate and golfed at Troon North. First, the restaurant is great. It's got good energy, great food, and wonderful service by the whole staff. Dina was especially helpful. The prices were reasonable for such a nice spot and they have good daily specials with great views while you dine.
The golf course if fully 5 stars. Keep in mind the price can be very high especially if you are renting clubs (an additional $79); but really consider getting a Troon Card where you can get great deals. Our $310 per person greens fee was even higher with the taxes and fees. The course itself is really nicely maintained and the views are spectacular. It's a bit challenging for a regular golfer and the ranger pushes everyone; but it's truly a 5 star experience all around. There are a number of holes where you have to get well over a wash or out-of-bounds area but that made it challenging and exciting. (Take extra balls : ). We went on a day where it was cart-path-only and it really slowed us down with how wide some of the holes are. We thought about coming back on another day and should have done that. It was very crowded but we thought it was reasonable to be done in 4.5 hours. It can get windy and chilly in the winter - glad we had jackets. It was a wonderful experience.

Just wrote 2 horrible reviews for both Troon North and Boulders - and wanted to take the tie to acknowledge Greyhawk. The place is beautiful - the staff welcoming - and the course although not perfect was a pleasure to play. Greens a little to hard so the ball odes not stick (only repaired one ball mark) and a few putts went off the green but the day was awesome! Congrats and thanks to Greyhawk - thank you!

Overall the suite was gorgeous, and the service was excellent. Here are a few issues we had. The adult pool when we were in there was filthy with leaves all over. Either the skimmer wasn't working or the pool cleaners were not staying up on it. OUr suite was by the street and cars woke me up at 530a. They need better sound insulation for suites facing the street. For almost $900 per night, that should have been thought about and remedied. Lastly on our day of checkout, the phones were busy and we started walking uphill with our bags because neither the operator or bell captain were answering or I was on hold indefinitely. My girlfriend who is 4 1/2 months pregnant and I had to start uphill walking to the front before someone in a gold cart saw us and picked us up.To make the reservation I got hung up on 4 times, but the Front desk staff was on the ball and had notes, so checking in was not an issue. Lastly, for a five star resort they should have complimentary rides into old town. The resort was only 30% full, so there are issues that need to be addressed, but overalll the staff was great and the suite was beautiful.

This was a new experience for me and I did love the concept and more so the fact I only required minimal golf skill was a bonus. Great night out with friends

Superb course, well maintained and great back nine. Extremely over priced for what it is though. Played grayhawk (raptor) next day and preferred it. Worth playing once in Dec/Jan (close to tournament) but that’s all I would do.

The course was in great shape and the pace of play was good. The employees were very friendly (especially the beverage cart ladies) and accommodating. I always look forward to playing Kierland while on vacation.

I'm not a golfer. At all. And still had a great time at Top Golf Scottsdale. I might be a better golfer if I received the feedback and stats available in your bay; very cool. Lexie and her associates provided awesome service. The American burger was good, and can be served as a wrap. The grilled chicken was good with accoutrements, just a tad bit dry but tasty. Limited wine selection (we still managed to enjoy a bottle).

First time at Top Golf. Learned there are 3 levels of golf. I made a reservation online and when we checked in, our bay was on the lower level. The hostess indicated I can make a note on the reservation re: the desired level of the bay I want (no guarantees), and can also inquire when checking in on the reservation to see if another level has availability (no guarantees).

Top Golf is clean, fun, large, well-staffed, and with an outdoor patio on the upper/highest level. Pool tables on the lower level.

    Adequate and free parking.

Small line to get a wristband for alcohol service before entering the building.

    Will return to explore more!

A great layout that is challenging from any set of tees. The course is extremely well maintained and the greens were in very nice shape. Had a great time and would recommend to all. Loved the go’s on the carts, as well as plenty of restroom facilities and water/ice, as in the desert you will need it!

I had read some reviews prior to playing there, and they left me uncertain. I can tell you my experience was far from bad. The course was in great shape, the starter was very, very friendly. It was the closest course to where we were staying and turned out to be a great time. Some nice mountain views. The greens were very fair. No complaints at all! We played 36 and had no issues at all. Was a great experience. We are a group of single digit handicappers that go to Az. almost every year, play 36 every day. We will go back to McDowell Mountain!

Staff were all very nice & friendly & took care of your clubs from vehicle to cart as should be at a professional course such as this one. Course was tremendous & fun to play! Private jets fly over every ~5 minutes to the local private airport & they fly so close you may could hit them with your golf ball...for me it was a cool experience & didn’t interfere with golf game. However, for being such a prestigious course, I didn’t realize the amount of partying!! Def a bachelor party spot, as guys were puking on the fairways & standing on top of the carts, it was crazy!! But, what can I say, they were having fun, just def unexpected. They do have water stations every 3 holes which was very much needed for desert golf & we appreciated it! Will be back to play stadium course.

Lovely Arizona patio; server Morgan was amazing...attentive, cheerful. Food is excellent golf course cuisine...except avoid the steamed clams...minuscule serving, tiny clams, lots of empty shells, and no broth. Highly recommend a late afternoon happy hour on weekdays.

Talking Stick is a very nice golf facility. Good practice area and both courses are really nice. What I would say is for the price they are average for Scottsdale. I think once they get the facilities updated( currently working on). That may change. I would play here again possibly in the future.

The Padre course was in great shape. Tees, fairways and greens. The clubhouse was very nice as well. I arrived 45 minutes early, looked around and used the practice facility until my tee time. We started on time and was paired with a twosome who were my age and skill level. It was sunny 74. Perfect weather. Hardly anyone on the course. We didn’t have to wait on anyone for the whole round.
The greens were pretty hard. I hit a lot of greens and never left a mark to repair nor did my ball have any green marking on it.
We only saw the snack cart twice during the round. For a course with no one on it I would have thought to have seen it more often.
We had lunch afterwards. Excellent food and service.
The carts had a wind shield (not needed), excellent gps coverage, water/ice/cooler provided with 2x towels and tees.
