    Elaborate play
Amazing play. This place has such details in set props so much that the animals come alive. It’s really cool to see camels, donkeys, horses, goats, sheep, dogs, birds on stage and walking through the aisles. They do two different plays a year and a holiday play. The plays are biblical.

    Not Disappointed
Our second time, the other in Branson seeing “Jesus”. Another great production, love the special effects, live animals. We set in upper level & had better view of side stages. Love the simple, short message at the end.

    Experience the Biblical Moses!
We can’t say enough good things about this theatre and this show, Moses! Sight and Sound theater is an experience in itself with gorgeous decorations and architecture. The show Moses was biblical, energetic, and thoughtful! If you only look at the cost, it seems like a lot. If you recognize what you’re getting, it’s well worth the money. We will be back, if God is willing!

    Moses
Went to see Moses and must say, it was good. The one downside of Sight & Sound is everything seems to be rushed. They need to have a bit more time between shows. They end the show and want to rush everyone out to get the next crowd in. This leads to issues getting parking and having time to get something to eat or go to the gift shop.

    Biblical, Epic, Emotional!
We will remember Moses forever! My 11 year old said it all when he leaned over and whispered to me: “God is very proud of this play.” So impressive! All areas of the stage were used, the sides of the theatre, above us, even the smells. Immersive and powerful. We loved when the animals walked near us in the aisles. The Passover scene was incredible…foreshadowing The Last Supper, and The Real Presence...watching it click for our children…worth every penny! There really is no way to describe it. Delicious snacks in the lobby. Epic facility. Disney, take notes please. THIS is what we want to spend our money on.

    A must see!
This was a wonderful production for all ages. It was the like the classic movie Ten Commandments come to life. There were very impressive aspects of how they created the sets! Well worth the price. We look forward to seeing more productions here.

Wonderful production of Moses with professional, gifted, and talented performers!
We had always heard how wonderful the plays were at Sight & Sound and finally got to experience it first hand! It was absolutely fantastic! Everything from parking, to entering building, to being seated. .. . the entire experience was exceptional. The staff so very cordial, polite, and friendly. We saw Moses and the production was touching and very professional. We would love to return again to see more productions. We highly recommend Sight and Sound Theatres.

Our 4th show! Love coming here!
Just saw the show Moses and as always, this theater put on a phenomenal show! They never disappoint! The way that they parted the "Red Sea" in this performance was mind blowing! What we love about coming here, is that you know that you are always going to see a great performance for a very reasonable price. We always sit on either the second or third level because you can see absolutely everything. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. If you have never been to a show here, please do yourself a favor and go!

    Totally loved it!!!
We were blessed to be able to see Esther in Branson. We went as a 15 person family, ages 8-72. Everyone was captivated by the staging, scenery, storyline, and excellent musical performances. Parking was easy and organized, but do get there in time to wait in line a few minutes. Hit the bathroom before starting time. ….too crowded at intermission, for the women especially. Seats were comfortable. The whole experience was amazing!

    Shows not to be missed.
Their elaborate productions are second to none. Adequate parking, great staff and of course the production itself. Can't say enough good about it. If you've never been here, treat yourself to a show here. You will be moved.

One of my friends and I were supposed to see the Queen Esther production in December (we live 3 1/2 hours away). About 15 minutes after the show was supposed to start, someone came out and said that the show would be delayed. They kept us sitting in the theater for 45 minutes watching videos about how wonderful the show was going to be, then finally came out and told us that they had to cancel that performance but that we were welcome to exchange our tickets for the evening show (apparently it was better to burn the matinee crowd than the evening one). We didn't have time to wait, and thanks to the hour they kept us sitting there for nothing, we didn't have time to do anything else in Lancaster either.
To make matters worse, when I called to get our money refunded because we weren't exchanging the tickets, the woman told me it would be 30 days before they issued the credit! I can only conclude that they wanted to get another month's interest out of it. I told her that was unacceptable, so she put me on hold and finally came back and said that a supervisor had approved the immediate refund. What kind of a place requires a supervisor to approve that?
Since my friend and I essentially drove 7 hours to have lunch thanks to this fiasco, I asked whether Sight and Sound would give us free access to screen their Christmas program that they were streaming for a fee so that we could at least see one of their shows. I felt that would be a good will gesture that wouldn't cost them anything, but they wouldn't do that either.
I have been to many Sight and Sound productions over the years and am extremely disappointed to find out that they apparently don't care about their customers at all. I will not be giving them any business in the future. The shows are wonderful, but don't plan on them caring if something unexpected happens and messes up the plans.

Goung to a Sight & Sounds has been on my bucket list for many years, so my husband suggested we go to celebrate my 60th birthday. Best birthday present ever!!

If I had to sum it up in one word, I think the best adjective to describe the production is "spectacular!!!"

The current show is "David" and is a wonderful portrayal of his life as described in the Bible. The actors are very talented, with an added factor that I only can describe as heartfelt worship...so much so that you can feel it. Beautiful!

The production itself adds new meaning to the term "state of the art." The special effects and scenery are amazing and awe-inspiring, especially during the scenes that include all three stages. As mentioned in other reviews, there are plenty of live animals too!

Now for some other tidbits and details that you might be wondering about!!

Can you smell the animals? No, I'm guessing they must get a bath every day. I didnt see any of them poo either, but my guess is that they have staff ready to clean it up immediately if they do. Can you touch the animals? Definitely not during the show. I have no clue if there are opportunities to meet the animals between shows.

While this show is great for the family, I recommend not bringing babies or toddlers prone to crying or fussing. Parents of disruptive children will be asked to take them out.

In terms of seats, I don't think there are any bad seats. They are a bit tight though.

The restrooms are huge and very clean. There's a gift shop area off to the side. I loved a snow globe there of David but at $52, I put it back and chose a keepsake magnet instead.
Parking is plentiful and guided by well organized staff.. i don't know if there is an option to drop off your group by the door.

Refreshments are available in the lobby, with warm glazed almonds being their signature treat. We didnt buy any but they smelled wonderful!
Our tickets were $69 each...well worth it!

I have had the opportunity to see numerous LIVE shows here because they are truly amazing! From the stage displays to the actors and singers who are phenonmenal, as they tell the stories from the Bible. What an amazing time to share Jesus, our Lord and Savior with the world--and to tell the world about of a loving God...the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob!

The show was great my concern was the lack of social distancing and lack of people wearing masks. A lady walking through the theater went up the stairs next to me right next to me With her mask under her chin, hollering over my head to the usher. In the lobby, especially during intermission, over half the people did not have their mask over their face. They were wearing them pulled down under chins, hanging off one ear, or a few below their nose. When I asked one of the clerks about it, she said they weren’t allowed to remind people to put their mask back on and I just thought that was that was disrespectful.

Took my 9-yr old grandson to see the show. As others noted, the sound is pretty loud and if this is a sensitivity, I recommend at least bringing cotton balls to help.
The stage is amazing and the first time the curtain rises is a bit of an awe experience with the details and size. I don’t thing there would be a bad seat in the house; acts occur on all sides of the stage so good seats are not limited to the orchestra center.
The show is longer than I anticipated; including the 20-min intermission, it was over 2 1/2 hrs.
The performance includes live animals; performers also go through the center isle during the show.
Tickets were purchased online; easy peasy. There’s plenty of free parking available, along with concessions and gifts.

When I watched Noah in the movie theaters I was very impressed with the quality of everything. When you see it in their theater, you realize how magical their set up is! I love how the stage/buildings are always moving and the story just keeps going. The animals, the costumes, the scenery, the music, and the stories are all so well done. (The side walls going up and making the stage bigger was so impressive. ) I look forward to taking my kids there some day......the only thing I would change is have a shorter show that was under 2 hours so that younger kids could attend.

Esther was so good!

Excitement , beautiful singing, amazing stage, action, animals and more ! What a play to see. Great for most ages.

What a super way to see the Bible in living color. This play represents a favor story how the Hebrews (Jews) were saved by God through Esther. The stage created was magnificent as it surrounded you on three with amazing features of a village, temples, courtyards, an extravagant palaces AND it was all used by the actors. The costumes fit the time in history from the peasant to the King of the Persian Empire.

Most of all ... the singing and acting was as good as NYC is at its best.

This show was amazing, as are all shows done at the Sight and Sound Theater near Lancaster, PA. The book of Esther comes alive on the most phenomenal set of all time. There is not a bad seat in the house but best seats are at least 5-10 rows from the front since much activity occurs on the sides of the theater. All actors performed extremely well but I have to give a shout-out to Haman who really perfected his role. He was a hoot, and added much amusement to the show. Don’t forget to get some of their legendary roasted almonds; they are delicious! Try to bring your own water as it is dearly priced at $2.99.

Our church group attended Queen Ester and for us first time patrons we were amazed at the singing, stage and production. One of the best shows Ive seen in the last 40 years. Plenty of parking, snacks and drinks available. Only constructive comment was seating. We were sitting on top of each other during the show. Plenty of open seating available with covid restrictions and we could have been spread out a little more. Very clean and modern theater. Defently recommend if you've never been.

The staff at sight n sound theaters had the enormous crowd so well directed the lines just about zoomed by. It was amazing and kept people from feeling overwhelmed with the waiting in lines. The actors have so much talent and the whole play was super professional. Best night out with family for sure! Thank-you Sight n Sound!
