Should I install Intel Graphics driver?

Tech Support

I'm bulding my first PC today: Gigabyte GTX960, Intel i5-4460, Gigabyte GA-H81M-HD3.

Of course I have to install Nvidia graphics driver. But should I also install motherboard's intel graphics driver and CPU integrated intel graphics driver? I thought it would be good to have them installed just in case my main GPU died, but I also heard that there can be problems with some games (like GTAV) when you have dedicated+integrated graphics. Should I also disable both integrated graphics in BIOS?

Parts are not delivered yet (propably will be in a few hours) but I want to know before I start doing things.

I would personally say no, but thats just because i had a issue where the intergrated gpu tried to disable my gtx 970.

I think the integrated graphics should work at shitty resolution without drivers, so I see no point in installing them unless your GPU dies.

You can try to connect to the integrated graphics without drivers just to make sure, though.

Here is a source.

Nah, don't bother, I never did and plugging video into it still works just fine.

I installed mine but only because my 7970 doesn't have HDMI out and the motherboard does so I wanted that for audio/video out to my TV.

If you have extra monitors, having the iGPU do the work can help while you keep your main one on the dedicated card. I would recommend you use it IF you want more monitors for casual stuff. Otherwise, you can disable it in the BIOS. Though some mobos don't allow the integrated and dedicated enabled at the same time... you just have to experiment.
