Anthony was a 2020 Short Film Fund Winner with Two Bears which has gone on to play at a number of major festivals. He has since gone on to write on the FOX show DEPUTY. 

Ben won our Film Fund with his short NAKED MAN. He has gone on to direct the new Spanish Netflix series INTIMIDAD (Intimacy).

2020 Short Film Fund winner Lindiwe has been chosen as a Sundance Ignite Fellow.

Claire Fowler won our inaugural Short Film Fund. Salam premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and won a BAFTA in 2020 for Best Short Film at BAFTA Cymru. She directed the TV Show MERCHED PARCHUS for BBC Wales in 2019 and directed on the fourth season of the Netflix show MANIFEST which will be released in 2023.

Sam Baron was a winner of our 2017 Short Film fund with his screenplay THE ORGY. Starring Amit Shah and Alexandra Roach, his short went on to have a successful international festival run. Afterward, Sam was approached by a number of producers and he is now developing the short into a television series with Sony Pictures. 

Nora won our Film Fund in 2018 with BEST SELLER. She is currently a staff writer on the new Amazon series, DAISY JONES AND THE SIX, and has directed an episode of THE GOLDBERGS (ABC). 

Benjamin won our Short Contest and went on to direct his short STUTTERER which won the Best Live Short OSCAR. He’s recently just written and directed SWAN SONG starring Mahershala Ali, Naomie Harris and Awkwafina.

Ella came on board to direct Molly O’Shea’s winning short script Miss Fortunate. She has gone on to direct the TV Shows Back to Life, starring Shore Judge Daisy Haggard, for Showtime, and The Baby for HBO. 

John was a Top 5 Finalist in our Short Film Fund with DUNKED. After writing and directing the tv series GROUNDED for OUTtv, John was snapped up as a staff writer on the Lucasfilm/Disney+ series WILLOW starring Ellie Bamber and Warwick Davis.

Ben worked with James Gould Bourn on his Short Film Fund winning script Champ. Ben, an EMMY winning director, directed the short. The film is now playing on the festival circuit. 

Kimberley is a Short Film Programmer at the Tribeca Festival and Head of Programming at the Catalyst Content Festival. She is the Production Advisor for Tribeca’s AT&T UNTOLD STORIES feature film grant program. Her recent film credits include UPROOTED (HBO MAX) and BEING MICHELLE.

Elena is an award-winning screenwriter known for co-writing A LOVE STORY which won the BAFTA for British Short Animation, the Japan Media Arts Festival Excellence Award, the Cilect Student Animation award; among others.

Amir Ovadia Steklov is a Berlin-based Israeli filmmaker. His films deal with topics of Racism, LGBTQIA, and immigration within a sex-positive framework. Amir graduated from Sam-Spiegel Film School in 2013 and has worked as an independent film editor and animator since then. Amir is best known for his award-winning films DON’T BE A DICK and BI THE WAY.

Emilio Vazquez Reyes is a Mexican-American film director based in Frisco, Texas. At 16, his directorial debut short film HONEYBEE won the Grand Jury Award for Texas High School Shorts at the 2022 SXSW film festival.

Shore Alumni Nora won our Film Fund in 2018 with BEST SELLER. She is currently a staff writer on the new Amazon series, DAISY JONES AND THE SIX, and has directed an episode of THE GOLDBERGS (ABC).
