Ray Goldberg (she/her | they/them pronouns) is a Chicago-born-and-raised writer specializing in film, theatre, and podcasts.
Her signature style includes using the lens of genre fiction (especially fantasy and sci-fi) to explore real social and philosophical issues, but with a wry sense of humor. She’s passionate about telling stories that center queer communities and people of color in a way that’s both entertaining and empowering.
Ray recently earned an MFA in Writing for the Screen and Stage from Northwestern University, and also has a BA in Screen Arts and Cultures from the University of Michigan. She currently works as a freelance script analyst with Coverfly and Coverage INK.
