I had a breakdown in the lobby where my phone did not work or anything and I was freaking out but the nice concierge, Coshia, used her past abilities as a phone service worker to help me 10/10 experience.

Great people! Had a family atmosphere. Rooms were clean! I would definitely stay here again. The VIP breakfast is sensational. Helen, Jury, and DJ from the VIP breakfast room were very helpful and super nice. Ruth is the most helpful, professional, courteous, and kind person you would want to meet. Mary and Douglas in the M Lounge were great. They provided excellent service with a smile. The food was very good, and the location was walking distance to Universal Studios. I would stay at this hotel again.

DJ was super friendly and helpful! We are just arriving and he has already given us good info. He directed us to the lobby and how to go about getting a great cup of coffee. When we left we had more questions and he was able to help.

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There were a few standouts, including Mary, Albino, and Angie in the Lounge, as well as Dai at the Concierge Desk. They took wonderful care of our family and always had a smile on their face.

Me and my family stayed in a room with a king size bed and a sofa bed. I tried sleeping on the sofa bed but the "mattress" felt like a piece of plywood. I asked the concierge for a rollaway bed, but then they said it wasn't allowed for our type of room. I decided to sleep on the floor then and use some cushions to pad me. I asked the concierge for extra blankets to try and provide a bit more padding, but they either never got delivered or they delivered the wrong amount of them. Also, because we had four people, they charged us an "extra person fee" of SEVENTY dollars. This was not shown to us when we bought the room. If they're going to charge $70 for an "extra person" the least they could have done is provide a rollaway bed, but they didn't even do that. Their hidden fees and policies are predatory and shameful. Their prices are outrageous for such a negative experience. I've stayed in better hotels for 3x less money. The only reason people should consider going here is if they want to be close to Universal.

My AMAZING experience at the Sheraton Universal City Hotel began when I pulled into the parking area to check-in. I was immediately greeted by the hotel valet staff in a very friendly and courteous manner. Mostafa was the valet person who came to my car to ask me how he could assist me. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon and I explained that this was my first visit to the hotel and I had a few questions. He kindly asked me to pull forward so my car could be in a safer spot away from the highly congested area in front of the lobby. I asked Mostafa if I could leave my car parked in the area I was in because I had to go inside with my disabled daughter who could not remain in the car alone.
Mostafa very kindly said that I could not leave my car unattended but gave me other options on how I could go about checking into the hotel. He answered all of my questions and helped guide me to know the many amazing amenities that the Sheraton has to offer that would make my choice to stay here PERFECT with my disabled daughter as we planned to go to Universal Studios our first night and again in the morning.
I have to say that the patience and kindness that Mostafa shared with me in the first 15-minutes of my entering the Sheraton property, made a world of difference in planning how I could successfully manage with my disabled daughter all by myself to do so many things in a short amount of time: checking into the hotel, parking, getting my luggage, settling into our room and getting to Universal Studios to see the lighting of the Christmas tree .
I knew immediately that the BEST option for me was to valet my car (even though self-parking is also available). All of a sudden, it seemed like Mostafa waved a magic wand because there suddenly appeared so many staff members to assist me. The Bell Attendant appeared and began to unload our luggage, Mostafa showed me exactly where to go to wait for the hotel free shuttle service that stops by every 15-minutes and has accommodates wheelchairs and I was assisted to the front desk to check in.
I felt all the stress of not knowing how I was going to manage my stay completely melt away all because Mostafa cared

One room - king bed and sofa bed
We checked in past midnight - around 1am, and we had no issue. I did inform the hotel that we will be arriving around that time. We were very warmly received, and Marcelo (the one who checked us in) was also very helpful.
