October 23, 2020 we were married in Stevensville and stayed here that night. Pre booked and every ready at check in. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful with all the hotel information and any questions we had. The room was cleaned to perfection. We requested an upper floor room with a falls view (since this was our wedding night) and were not disappointed. What a great place to stay, would go back here in a heart beat. Hotel is in a great location, has plenty of amenities on site including the casino (when ever it opens agains) Massimo restaurant is there and would recommend a visit. Thanks to the staff for a great night!
Wow, the pandemic has really brought out the worst in people and it truly shows with the recent ridiculous negative reviews. I’ve been staying at this hotel since 2000. Nearly 21 years now! Never once have I had an issue here and it’s the only place I will ever stay in Niagara! I’ve seen the hotel transition through many renovations and they’re always wonderful. My rooms have always been spotless and I’m a stickler for cleanliness. Staff are always kind and helpful. For those complaining about parking and resort fees...you’re staying in a tourist destination. They all charge a resort fee and that is clearly stated when you book be it online or over the phone. Yes, you pay to park, just like at every other hotel! I have stayed here twice during the pandemic for work. The accusations people are making in their reviews are crazy! Masks are mandatory and enforced unless you medically cannot wear one. Staff are masked, including housekeeping. Yes there is no valet at this time because of COVID safety. You can park on deck (very limited spaces) or self park a very short walk away. Coffee makers are currently removed from rooms as they are hard to properly sanitize and staff are trying to keep you safe! If you’re really so high maintenance that having no coffee maker causes you to be outraged, stay home! Yes there is no room service due to COVID. Again, the staff are trying to keep you safe by limiting contact. Yes, rooms are not cleaned daily if you are staying more than one night for the same reason. However if you need anything replenished or cleaned just call the desk and they will help you. I’ve done it. You will be informed of all of this when booking. We are living in a pandemic. If you have certain must haves call the hotel to ask questions before you book, don’t expect it to be business as usual. They are doing the best they can! There are also plenty of food options available in the area and some will deliver to the hotel. Learn to adapt, people! If you come in thinking that everything will be “normal” well, that’s on you. Don’t abuse the staff because you can’t accept the fact that we’re living in a very different world right now. CALL AND ASK IN ADVANCE! Sanitizer stations are always full yet you could also carry your own sanitizer with you which, let’s be honest, you should be doing that already. Every time I have been in the lobby I have seen staff cleaning common areas and elevators. Signage about masks and distancing are clearly posted. To those who find the noise of the mini fridge too loud here’s an idea...unplug it! That’s what I do as I too find them loud. If you don’t need it, unplug it. If you do need it then don’t whine. It’s not the fault of the hotel, most mini fridges are on the noisy side, especially when placed in a cabinet, it turns into an echo chamber. Again, not the fault of the hotel. Cant sleep from the sound and need the fridge on? Get earplugs. Easy! Keep up the great work Sheraton! I will always come back!…
Place is amazing and staff are great. Take advantage of the view if you can for a few extra bucks. Well worth and close to everything. With all the Christmas lights set up as well and close to lots of restaurants.
Hotel has been updated and is extremely clean, but inviting and warm at the same time. Jonathan at the front desk went above and beyond. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He really got this night away off to a great start. The room was immaculate and the view is over the top! The entire experience was great and we will definitely be returning for another get away!!
Stayed at the Sheraton a couple of weeks ago and loved every minute of it. Beds are comfy beyond belief. From checkin to checkout all staff were amazing. Very clean. Great atmosphere. Super view of the falls. There was nothing we didn't like. Location was perfect.highly recommend it and will be back next year.
