We had a wonderful evening last night celebrating our anniversary. Megan was our waitress, and she was lovely from the moment we sat down. We did the prix fixe option (which is the best option price wise) both with the beef tenderloin, that was cooked...and plated to perfection. We both had the dessert feature made by Niti, which was a three cheese pistachio cheesecake topped with a homemade fig earl grey jam..........I had to write it down just so I could dream about how good it was. Would love to come back here in the future.More

Visited Massimo’s as it was recommended as good Italian and convenient (in Sheraton where we were staying after a day of sight seeing) while a little pricey but worth the cost. The view of the falls is “the best” , the service was outstanding and...the food matched. Pasta was fresh and cooked perfect, cheesecake with fig and pistachio crust was a perfect finish! Our server, Rowen knew his wines and matched dinner perfectly. While not too busy during our meal, he spent time explaining meal chooses, specials taking care of special requests and highlights of the view of the falls and surrounding area. ( just added to the ambiance making for a pleasant evening) Would recommend for a great Italian evening meal and romantic environment. In off season reservations not needed, unless you want to assure a window seating.More

When I visited Massimo's Rowen was our host for the evening. He made us feel like we were visiting a good friend at their home. He has a true passion for what he does and it shows. He took his time to welcome us to...the restaurant and explain our different meal options, which is normal, but somehow he elevated it with his humour and charm. Throughout the meal he was attentive without being overbearing and all of his suggestions were dead on perfect. The food was sublime! I had the Lamb and it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. One of my friends had the shrimp and it was incredible. Everyone agreed that it was an all around delicious experience. My friend whose birthday we were celebrating felt like a princess. The food, service and ambiance is on par if not better than high end eatery's in Toronto so the cost was not an issue. Well worth it! When you add the fantastic view of the falls it made for a perfect night.More

I don’t understand the hype of this place. As soon as I was escorted to my table, I immediately felt the floor was very sticky and dirty. The warm bread was a nice touch, along with the flavourful Caesar salad. Those were the best parts...of my meal. I opted for the beef tenderloin. It was chewy and stringy. The vegetables were bland. The mashed potatoes were the best part of that dish. The lemon budino was underwhelming. The server was polite, but she did NOT tell me about the extra $10 charge for the beef tenderloin. I brought it up when I saw the bill and she was very flippant about it. It was definitely not worth the money. Maybe try the pasta or go somewhere else.More

Searched for a restaurant for a surprise dinner with a nice view of the falls as we were in the city for my wife's birthday and Massimo popped up so I decided to give it a try, and it turns out I too was (pleasantly)...surprised and extremely delighted with our experience! The restaurant is located on a high floor in the Sheraton overlooking the falls. The highlight of our dining experience however was the exceptional service provided by our server Rowen. He was very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and brought us some virgin drinks on the house as a treat for my wife's birthday! He was very friendly, provided thorough descriptions of the menu items and suggested personal recommendations. We got the 3 course prix fixe, which was a wonderful way to experience appetizers, mains and desserts in a price that was totally worth it. The food was delicious, my personal favorites were the bruschetta, shrimp linguini and the lemon crostada for dessert. The ambiance had a fine-dining low-light vibe going, which is why the pictures just don't do the food justice. Our table had a perfect view of the falls too, making for a spectacular experience. Rowen went above and beyond to make the night perfect for us and ended our night with some nice conversations and stories - definitely been a while since I've had service this good! Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends and family!More

We went for Valentine's dinner. The restaurant is located in the old casino complex, in the Sheraton Hotel. The room was very quiet, with soft lighting. This provided the ambiance for the stunning view of Niagara Falls. Reservations were made online and easy to make....Appetizers were a selection of warmed olives, bruschetta and calamari. The olives were very good. The bruschetta was very crunchy and flavourful. The calamari was lightly dusted and fried. It was served with a mildly spicy dipping sauce. Shrimp Linguini was a medium portion of fresh pasta with an excellent saffron cream sauce, with Real shaved permesan cheese. Prosciutto wrapped chicken was very good. It came with pumpkin risotto. Dinner included dessert. We had the tiramisu. Every dish was flavourful and well presented. The service was excellent in every way. The view is spectacular! Highly recommended for that special occasion!More

I have a Northern Italian background and have been privileged to dine in very good modern Italian restaurants in Italy and in various North American cities. My meal and my dining experience at Massimo’s Fallsview Niagara was excellent and comparable to the restaurants I have...experienced. The prosciutto wrapped chicken was perfectly cooked, prosciutto finely sliced and crispy, served at the right temperature and the sauce(not too saucy) blended nicely into the accompanied pumpkin risotto. The risotto was cooked the right way, al dente, and the pumpkin tender crisp not mushy. The service was pleasant and refined and I bet the young wait staff, Jordan, was trained in the excellent tourist schools the Niagara colleges are renowned for. If you are seated by the window for amazing views of the falls, there is some draft that may bother some patrons so do bring a cardigan/wrap and keep warm with a great cup of coffee or lovely loose leaf green tea.More

Tony (bartender) provided us great service His knowledge of the wines helped us select a bottle that paired perfectly with dinner. The food was incredible and portions were very generous. Best Ceasar salad I have ever tasted and the portion was more than enough for...two. When we return we will split one salad and take the opportunity to taste another appetizer. Main course was shrimp linguini in a saffron sauce. Incredible flavour! Can't wait to return. Almost forgot to mention the unbelievable view of the Falls! Thanks Tony for a great experience,More

My husband and I were their last week to enjoy a romantic dinner over looking the falls. The atmosphere is cozy and dim lit for ambiance and the music fades elegantly into the background. The food is divine with flavour exploding in every dish and...obviously love of perfection is shown by the chef. Our server Rowan really tied the evening together with his perfect reccomendations based on questions he asked to get to know our taste. His service was prompt and true at heart. You can see passion for his job as goes from table to table have personal repor at each. Other than the gorgeous views over looking falls and the scrumptious array of indulgent food, Rowan really want out of his way making our evening comfortable! Thank you too you all at Massinos for an excellent 30th Birthday evening!More

We were in Niagara Falls for business event and decided to make a weekend of it. We stayed in the Sheridan and opted to make our weekend relaxed and stick close to the resort. We dined at Prime Steak house on Friday night (excellent) and...Massimo’s Saturday . Massimo’s was fantastic!! Huge servings. We ordered the Caesar salad to start and shared the special which was a 40 oz rib eye with mushroom and bacon au jus. It was amazingly tender and flavourful (And we could not finish). Our server Sasha made us feel special and she was very attentive but relaxed and at ease. A visit from chef Frank to see how we enjoyed his special creation added to the whole experience. On top of the amazing dinner, the atmosphere is elegant and the view amazing.More

Yesterday was my birthday and Anthony made my dinner experience very special. As well as the hostess who participated in some of the food delivery! I chose the prix fixe menu and had an excellent (and huge) Caesar salad, moist salmon with nice crispy outside,...and delicious cheese plate for dessert. The warm olives were absolutely heavenly. Anthony was completely respectful of our space, yet was always nearby when needed. Great conversationalist as well! Superb experience all around!More

I went to Massimo's because I wanted my girlfriend to have a great view of the falls while enjoying fine Italian cuisine. Prior to ordering, our server Rowen gave us a full breakdown of the mains and provided his opinion based on what we asked....He recommended the Shrimp Linguine... and it was incredible! Rowen's service was easily the best I've received at any restaurant and we could tell he really cared about the guests and the brand he represents. We'll be coming back in the future for sure.More
