The Sheraton Fallsview Hotel garners acclaim for its spotless rooms featuring breathtaking views of the falls and modern conveniences, despite occasional noise and maintenance gripes. Its prime location is celebrated for proximity to attractions and dining, though parking can be a trek. Cleanliness is generally upheld, with a few reports of oversight. While the vibrant atmosphere is a plus for many, service quality receives mixed reviews, ranging from inefficient to commendable. However, hidden fees and extra charges have led some guests to question the hotel's value.

So happy to have spent my birthday at the Sheraton On the Falls Hotel! The perfect experience started right from check in... exceptional staff, friendly and professional. We arrived around noon and did not expect our Corner Fallsview Suite to be ready for check-in but it totally was and the check in was so smooth. We were on a casino package which included a $50 casino voucher to spend, $20 off at the spa, 2 comp drinks at lobby bar or Hard Rock Cafe, dinner discounts, wine tasting passes, the list goes on, truly great value and we took advantage of it all. I told the staff at check in it was my bday and they asked if I preferred white or red wine and a bottle was sent up to our room to enjoy. The corner view falls suite was such a treat -spacious, spectacular views of the falls and Clifton hill, and a balcony. I especially enjoyed the deep soaking tub that overlooks the falls...bring some bubble bath and enjoy a glass of wine and take in the views. I changed into the robes provided and headed to my bday spa appts, so conveniently located on site. The spa is gorgeous and it wasn't too busy being there the first week of Jan...they had brownies and a non alcoholic drink in a champagne flute for me to enjoy in between treatments, I was blown away by that extra effort. Nice touch Christienne Spa! Next was our comp drinks in the lobby bar, and onto dinner and the casino. The location of this hotel is prime, we didn't even have to go outside to access all of the amenities, including the Niagara Casino. I felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, and kudos to the check in staff for setting the stage for a wonderful, relaxing overnight stay. We are returning next week and bringing my parents for some more R & R.

The best Hotel if the location is the only criteria. Having said that parking can get expensive. In itself, the Hotel does not have its own parking lot. Rather is using the parking shared with Casino Niagara and Crowne Plaza. Not a biggie but it adds to your journey. Good thing is that you can connect through going all indoor, which is not properly signaled but it is doable. The room had a view of the American side, a normal type of room. Nothing to note. The bathroom ceiling is ridiculously low, must be around 6ft. You do feel cramped in there. For all intents, it is a functional Hotel. Though it is not a 4 star based on modern amenities, as reception + the room makes it feel like a dated 3-star. Though the breakfast buffet and the next door Massimo Italian Restaurant, with spectacular Falls views remind us that sometimes you pay extra for the location and view. Would I ever go back? Not likely.

My wife and I drove to Niagara Falls on the 29th of December for our anniversary. Upon arriving and checking in, we went to our room. The room was average, but the view was exemplary!!! A great vision of both Falls, and high enough to enjoy the sights. The check-in process is very flawed, it was slow and took almost 45 minutes from when we got in an EXTREMELY long line until we received our keys. In our room, we had no robes, slippers, or expected amenities. Although we had booked weeks in advance because it was our anniversary (which they acknowledged in our reservation) they failed to do anything special to make us feel welcome. I reminded them before we went to dinner at 8:30 PM and the front desk staff was caught off guard (apparently the anniversary note wasnt annotated) and said they could leave us a bottle of wine. I asked them to do it between 9 PM and 10 PM as we would be out and it would be a nice surprise when we got back. They said they would make sure it happen, yet upon our return at 11:30 there was nothing there. Instead, at 8:30 AM we were woken by a knock stating they had a bottle for us. I asked them to leave it at the door, and when I opened the door to get it there was only a bottle and a note.....no glasses or even a tray. This was something I had never experienced, and I was surprised that a hotel owned by Marriott would have such poor service.

We enjoyed the view, but were very ready to leave this hotel early the next day. We had hoped, due to reviews, that our anniversary would have been met with better customer service. Be advised that, at least at this location, the great views are paired with substandard customer service.

We had been very busy getting our home ready for Open House and decided to go to the Falls while people came through..easier that way. Booked for Friday and Saturday night. Have stayed at this property many times, love the views ! Upon check in, I was told this was thier first day opening in a couple months. Up to the 19th Floor, older room, hall carpets had what looked like wood chips all over near the ice machine, which did not work. In the room toilet looked like it had poop stains and did not flush. Called down to front desk asked to have keys sent up to move to new room, was told stain is from water sitting for so long, and she is the only one there so have to come get new room keys. New room 20th floor, same old looking room. Settle in and after a little while start to see the odd ant on bed and pillow. Head to bathroom and they were everywhere on the floor ! Called down to see if maintenance can come spray, again, I am the only one here ! What type of company leaves 1 person to handle EVERYTHING on her own first night of opening !! No housekeeping, no security for this poor girl !! I told her I felt very sorry for her, asked her to cancel our next night ! In the morning, went to desk spoke to the manager on duty, explained everything we went through and how disappointed I was in how they treat thier staff...head nods is all I got ! Moved to a different hotel for Saturday who was clearly ready, they had been open the whole time and doing checks on rooms and performing general maintenance like running the water and flushing toilets. Shame on you Sheraton ! Upon our return home on Sunday our check out folio came by email we were charged for both nights but a quick call to the hotel and that was fixed. Resort fees should be suspended right now, no wego or wine tasting coupons were given obviously but still charged for it, WiFi should be free like the other property !

Listen, I'm so disappointed about my stay at this hotel, I am taking the time to write this review before I actually check out!

I really don't know where to start.. I had to call 5x on the first day, before I could get a staff at front desk to answer the phone. Bugs everywhere including spiders on the bed. Changed rooms 3x. Intermittent tv reception. The outdoor pool was filthy and overcrowded. Since absolutely nothing else was going on at the hotel, (no gym, no spa, no restaurants) they should have had dedicated staff stationed at the pool to manage crowd control and clean lounge chairs between guests (as we are still very much in the middle of a pandemic)!
If there happens to be any transmission of Covid-19 at this property, it would have definitely happend at the pool. No one managing social distancing.. No cleaning of items... No one wearing masks.

Housekeeping- is a joke. I was told that I had to put out my own garbage and dirty towels outside my room and they would leave those replacement items at the door for me?!

Since I'm still in the middle of trying to salvage what's left of my weekend getaway, I'll just say that I wish someone warned me to stay in the comfort and peace of my own home instead of coming here. Complete disaster stay.

One positive thing I will say: I paid for a Falls view room and it was truly spectacular.
Other than the view, Worst I've ever experienced.

We selected a falls view room with a King sized bed, and were given a room on the 22nd. Upon arrival to our room, the room was rather musty smelling and was very disappointed with the cleanliness.

With COVID-19, I brought my own disinfectant wipes to ensure common touch surfaces were clean. And I am glad I did! In the washroom, the toilet had hairs on, there was makeup or something on the Kleenex box and it was clear the floor had not been washed as there were marks that were dried on.

As for our “Fallsview room” we could see the falls standing in the corner of our balcony but the room was really a city view. We found plastic cups and garbage on our balcony and on the inside of our window was a dead bug smeared across the window.

Another issue we had was the bed, our pillow cases and comforter had black stains on them. When I pulled back the comforter the sheets has multiple, what appeared to be blood stains on it. At this point I went down to the front desk to ask if I could get new bedding. The gentleman at the front desk told me he would have to check with management to see if I could get new bedding. To me that is completely unacceptable. I Absolutely deserve to have clean bedding and there was no apology for my experience.

I let the gentleman know that we would be going for a walk and that no one would be in the room. When we returned to our room there was a garbage bag outside our door with 2 sets of sheets in them. So I stripped the bedding off to find the mattress cover also with multiple hairs of all different colours on it.

Last note on the cleanliness or lack there of, would be the air return was filthy! It was Covered in dust and dirt.

One other thing I would like to note is, at every door there are signs stating masks are mandatory. However I guess this “rule” does not apply to all maintenance and house keeping staff. On at least 4 or more occasions I saw staff members with no masks. How is it that these people are responsible for “cleaning” but are breathing/exposing possible germs all over these rooms?

The lack of cleanliness was completely unacceptable not to mention during a pandemic.
I was so unhappy with my experience and wanted to leave and go to a different hotel. The reason I didn’t was because it was now 11pm and I had a 7 year old with me. Not to mention I had spent an hour cleaning every surface of the room.

Going to Niagara Falls was the only vacation my family was able to do this year and we were sadly disappointed. We have stayed at the Sheraton on the falls many times but this was surely our last. With parking and all the taxes/resort fees I spent over $600 to go home unhappy with our experience.

I received an email from the hotel manager asking for feedback, which I did in hopes that future guests would not have the same experience I did. However I never heard back from the manager.

I would recommend thinking twice before staying here

Checked in after waiting in lobby for 20minutes. Unacceptable how many people waiting in the lobby with covid going on! Got the keys and gave them to my boyfriend and I went to work. Got back from work around midnight went up to the room for the first time myself and oh no!! Wallpaper peeling off the walls! Black circles on the mirror! Fridge made a loud buzzing ring and didn’t keep anything cold! The shower you could either shower outside the shower or adjust the head to spray the wall but not down! It was impossible to use! I went right down stairs and the man said to come back in the morning didn’t even hear what I had to say. I said I wanted it noted on my file I came down here at this time as it’s now about 1am. He said sure but didn’t touch the computer once! I went upstairs to bed. The next morning I come down and request to change rooms and I tell her why. No compensation given no sympathy nothing! It’s like the agent knew the problems the room had and just moved me to get me away from the desk. We move to the new room still as dated furniture and there’s no coffee maker!! The only option you have for coffee is Starbucks in the lobby where you pay 9$ a coffee!! We upgraded to the breakfast package for our last night. We go to the breakfast in the fallsview restaurant and they seat us next to a pole so we can’t see the fallsview disappointed!! I think it’s the only spot in the restaurant you can’t why even put a table there? Then we ordered the continental and the canadian breakfast. The continental came with fruit, four pastry’s and coffee or tea. Canadian a pastry, 3 eggs, home fries, bacon or sausage, toast and coffee or tea. But when we received our breakfast we didn’t get any fruit! And no pastry for the Canadian breakfast. The next time we saw our waiter he was putting the bill on our table. Couldn’t even ask him about the other food.... unacceptable! I’m very disappointed in this stay and the customer service I received.

Here for a conference and went to go use the bath to find a bunch of hair in the bathtub. Called the front desk and asked to switch rooms, they moved me to the same class of room and again the bathtub was dirty and their was a stain on the sheets. Let guest services know who sent the house cleaning manager to take a look and then they had house keeping come clean it which frankly, was awkward. Clearly their cleaning staff do not do a thorough job if this occurred in 2 different rooms on 2 different floors. Make sure you take a look before settling in. Additionally, the walls are very thin and you will hear your neighbours quite easily - something to keep in mind. For the price there are many better options in the city where these are non issues and for these reasons I can’t say I would recommend this hotel over the many others available.

It was a concerning, sad, disappointing and stressful experience. I booked one night on the Sheraton at Niagara. I expected that paying 300 dollars a night will guarantee the minimum measurements against the spread of COVID 19. When we entered the lobby, it was full of people. Many of them were playing with their masks on the hand, others did not have a cover, and they did not respect the social distance. I tried to look for an employee, and I found a person in a corner. He was completely overwhelmed and did not what to do. He answered that there were dots on the floor that sign the physical distance that nobody was respecting. I had to expose my children to that mess because the guy told me they would not refund my fee. When I finally reached the front desk, the employee answered she was not responsible for the safety of the people. Then, I talked to the manager, and he was speechless. They neither have employees in the lobby organizing the situation nor in the elevators that were full of people without masks. The hand sanitizer dispenser located close to the elevator doors was empty during the whole time we were in the hotel. It is unbelievable that during a pandemic, the managers of the Sheraton did not take seriously such a situation and expose people's lives for money. The saddest part is that we were walking close to the Hilton, and there everything was clean. Multiple employees with PPE were organizing their clients. They allowed only one family per elevator, and they sanitized them after the use of every patron. Do yourself a favour and go to the Hilton.

I've stayed at this exact location before and never has it been this bad. It was an amazing experience just a year ago.
I cannot tell you how disappointed I am after staying in the premium corner suite which runs about 500.00 a night. The parking situation is a nightmare. You have to park at another lot and then make your way back to the hotel. Checking in took more than 40 mins. Once we got to our room it was musty smelling and the air wasn't on. It didn't look like it was cleaned! Being during Covid you would think the room would be spotless and it wasn't. See the pics I took to prove it- insects baked into the curtains, old dirty alarm clocks, stained furniture, crumbs on the carpet, pubic hair on the bathroom floor and tub- I nearly puked! We called the front desk and housekeeping came and was disgusted with whomever cleaned the room. They came to "clean" it, and the at most they vacuumed and changed the top comforter cause the previous one had food stains on it!
DO NOT get the corner suite it's not worth it the mattress is horrendous! We asked to move to another room and they said the hotel was booked solid. They made no other attempt to help the situation.
We moved rooms after the 2nd night to the 20th floor and stayed in a renovated room and it was clean and had a great view.
They are understaffed and disorganized. The food at the buffet was mediocre at best nothing compared to how it used to be I'm sad to say, as it used to be stellar. The better food came out on Saturday evening.
The outdoor pool was nice but was out of order because of chlorine levels so if you were looking forward to a nice summer day outside your time was limited to an hour after they sorted it out.
Sorry I won't be staying here again. It's loud, too many people, and the elevator situation is a nightmare as you could be waiting for one for 20 mins.
The resort fees and parking are outrageous too!
There are some nice staff and that's why I'm even giving this place a 2.
It's too bad cause overall the location is superb and the views with balconies are awesome.

The "views" just determines which way you face or which side of the building you are on. I personally think that the American Falls view is the best value. A great view still but less than paying for the Canadian falls view.

I heard conflicting reports about using Uber. Some people said that they would only take you as far as the border and then you would have to walk across. We used Buffalo airport taxi and they picked us up at the airport just outside baggage claim and drove us directly to our hotel on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls Buffalo airport taxi. That’s the business name, Buffalo taxi cab service, was less than $100

Never stayed in the Bi-Level rooms. Have always selected Niagara Parks View and the view has been quite good. The higher up likely the better the view and the less the city noise.

You have access to the rooftop pool, with your keycard. No reservations were needed, only if you wanted reserved seating for fireworks. When we were on the rooftop pool, we did see kids accompanied by their parents.
