Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil or LizQuen as their fans call them are undoubtedly one of the most famous and in demand love team in the country today. They are also one of the most influential having more than 8 million followers on Twitter and 10 million followers in Instagram combined.

Their birth of their love team can be traced back to the KathNiel movie ‘Must Be Love’ in 2013. In the movie, Liza played the third wheel to Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo’s characters. She’s The One (2013)

Although not they aren’t the lead characters in the movie, this is one of the movies that started their career as love teams. In the movie, Enrique played the role of David, a guy who saw a girl, named Cat (Bea Alonzo), fixing her car, took a video of it, and eventually fell in love with her. Liza played the role of Gillian, David’s best friend. Apparently, Gillian in the movie doesn’t want David to meet the ‘Girl in the Rain.’ At the end of the movie, David finally lets go of Cat and realized that the one girl he loves is Gillian and the two became a couple. Also starring in the film is actor Dingdong Dantes. It was directed by Director Mae-Cruz Alviar.

Just The Way You Are (2015)

‘Just The Way You Are’ is the movie adaptation of the best-selling Pop Fiction book and Wattpad series ‘The Bet’ written and published by Kimberly Joy Villanueva (ilurvbooks). The story follows a popular guy named Drake Sison (Enrique Gil), who makes a bet with his best friend Andrei (Yves Flores), to make the nerdy transfer student, Sophia Taylor (Liza Soberano), fall in love with him in 30 days. Once she falls for him, he must confess that it was all a bet. Also starring in the film were Yves Flores, Sue Ramirez, Myrtle Sarrosa, Yayo Aguila, and Jon Lucas. It was directed by Director Theodore Boborol. Their first-ever movie has earned almost P100 million.

Everyday I Love You (2015)

Another blockbuster and breakthrough movie LizQuen has made is ‘Everyday I Love You’ in 2015 directed by Director Mae-Cruz Alviar. The movie, produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. and distributed by Star Cinema has earned P 178.7 million pesos. It’s a story of a young woman, Audrey (Liza Soberano) whose fiance, Tristan (Gerald Anderson) is in a coma. She falls in love with Ethan (Enrique Gil), a driven young man from Manila who works for a TV company, leaving her torn between the man of her dreams and the man who makes her dreams come true.

My Ex And Whys (2017)

Directed by blockbuster director Cathy Garcia-Molina, produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. and distributed by Star Cinema, ‘My Ex and Whys’ has grossed P 410 million. It was a story about a womanizer named Gio (Enrique Gil), who tries to prove he’s a changed man to his ex-girlfriend, a blogger named Cali (Liza Soberano). Cali, on the other hand, tests if Gio really has changed, and things didn’t go as planned.
