Shawna Craig is one of the cast members of Second Wives Club on the E! Channel. However, it is interesting to note that it is not the first time that she has appeared on the TV screen, with previous examples ranging from Celebrity Wife Swap to the Long Beach Grand Prix. For that matter, acting and modeling are just some of the pursuits that Shawna has taken up, meaning that there is much more to her than what a lot of people would expect on initial inspection.

She Is a Fifth Wife
Despite its name, not all of the cast members on Second Wives Club are second wives. For example, Shawna isn’t the second wife but rather the fifth wife to Lorenzo Lamas-Craig. It is interesting to note that Lamas-Craig was the one who changed his last name rather than the reverse, which happened because his previous wife, Shauna, decided to keep the last name Lamas after their divorce. As a result, Shawna didn’t want a name that would have been almost identical to that of her predecessor, which would have been more confusing than it needed to be.
She Is a Reproduction Counselor
One of Shawna’s jobs besides her acting and modeling is being a reproduction counselor. To be exact, she is a reproduction counselor at an egg donation agency, which is where women donate eggs in order to help other women conceive as part of assisted reproduction treatment. Generally speaking, most eggs are fertilized in the lab before being used as part of in vitro fertilization, but there are cases when the eggs are frozen for later use instead.
Acted As a Surrogate Mother for Her Step-Daughter
Shawna’s career as a reproduction counselor is what led to her acting as a surrogate mother for her step-daughter Shayne Lamas, who had suffered a ruptured uterus from a bad miscarriage. At the time, Shawna consoled Shayne when she was upset that she could no longer have children by informing her that she still had her eggs before volunteering her services as a surrogate mother should she need one. As a result, Shawna gave birth to her step-grandson Lyon Lamas-Richie on July 4 of 2015, which rather unsurprisingly, brought her that much closer to her step-daughter.
Doesn’t Drink Either Coffee or Soda
When she was in high school, Shawna was involved in both sports and the performing arts. Due to her high school athletic career, she stopped drinking both coffee and soda, which is something that she has maintained since that time. For that matter, Shawna doesn’t drink alcohol either.
Used to Be Known for Long Hair
At one point, Shawna was known for her long hair, which had reached her waist. However, she had her 12″ ponytail cut off in 2011 so that the hair could be donated to Locks of Love, which is a nonprofit that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children who are suffering from either permanent or long-term hair loss as a result of their medical conditions.
