I visited this casino thinking that the same precautions that are being taken at the Atlantic City Hard Rock were being done here. Boy was I wrong. They did have the same infrared temperature scanners as you walked in which was very welcome and they did provide masks to those that did not have any. Unfortunately, they allowed smoking and drinking on the casino floor which kind of defeats the purpose of the mask. This casino has two floors and as soon as you walked into the first floor the place reeked I’d smoke. It was awful. However, you walk up to the second floor non smoking floor and it was like a dream. Air smelled so fresh and clean. They did have every other machine shut off for social distancing which only works if you do not have a crowd with you who then wants to sit in the empty seat. They should remove the empty seat to promote social distancing. They do have a COVID enforcement team but it appears they only ask you to put your mask on properly if you are not seated at a machine or card table. …

Amazing stay in the newly built East Tower. King bed on the 15th floor. Room is very spacious, double sinks in the bathroom, frosted sliding glass door for privacy. Hotel room very clean with sealed door to ensure you a piece of mind when you walk in. Hard Rock looks to be Super Bowl ready!

I don't consider myself a big gambler, but the Hard Rock was gracious enough to comp me for a room in their brand new East Tower and all I can say is WOW. I've done my share of traveling and this is probably the nicest room I've ever stayed in. The room was large, super clean and everything was in perfect working condition. The attention to detail was noticeable. I've seen some nice walk in showers before, but this one was the biggest and most luxurious ever. Beyond the room, this hotel employs WAY more staff than I'm accustomed to, and I could tell they all had been trained in customer service. Not a single employee I ran into was less than 100% friendly and helpful. I didn't use the pool, but did check it out and again, it was over the top nice. The valet parking was very efficient, the check in was fast, and the meals I had were, without exception, of good value. Check out the breakfast sandwiches at the little coffee shop down from the registration desk- a variety of tasty sandwiches which are almost big enough for two people- all for $6. I highly recommend this place.…

The rooms are nice and have a sitting area with a small couch and eating table. The beds are very comfortable, and your head just sinks into the pillow. The bathroom is a good size with a double sink area. The shower has a bench and two shower heads, one is a rainfall head and the other is a handheld. There is a coffee maker in the room. There is also security to make sure that only hotel guests get on the elevators to the rooms. The one thing that I didn't like, however, is that there was no microwave. The casino has several good restaurants which aren't cheap, (Council Oaks is my favorite), but you can't heat up any leftovers. Also, you need to have a car. The hotel is well located off of the highway for travel to Orlando and the East Coast, but there really isn't anyplace to walk around outside. Tip: Ask for the East Tower when you book. It's the newer tower and is more updated and modern than the West Tower. …

Let me say that we stay at the Hard Rock Tampa at least six times a year. It’s a great get away for us, However Room Service has always been a problem there. We ordered a cheeseburger and because of COVID they don’t have menu so the Operator walks you through the menu. Well I accidentally had the Privacy button On so apparently they are not able to bother you and leave a sign at your door stating they came by. To my surprise they still charge you the food you ordered even though nobody tells you that’s a rule. A staff member said to me that room service waiters don’t care to make sure you get your food because they get an 18% tip and can eat your food since they didn’t deliver it. I complained and the Room Service Mgr said too bad we can’t reverse the charges because you didn’t answer the door. Even though they didn’t ring the doorbell because the privacy button was on.…

We got a balcony room on the 14th floor. The room was very nice. The pool area was clean and well staffed. The main floor game area has smoking allowed. It got to be difficult for us to stay in that area for any length of time. Sad part was the slots in the non-smoking area were older. Parking in garage was well lit and patrolled by officer on a bicycle. Check-in was easy. Clean & Safe campaign and team in yellow shirts wipe down everything. Social distancing managed with plexiglass between gaming stations.

There are many great things about this hotel. Convenient location to the highway, fast efficient checkin, the restaurants deliver good food, clean luxurious rooms, security, awesome pools. If you are a gambler, you will love this hotel. If you are not a gambler, you might not. We stayed for a night on our way to south Florida. We loved the convenient ‘right off the highway’ location. But the downside is, we heard traffic all night long. And in the morning, the highway noise was loud at the pool. The checkin clerk was fast and efficient. But then we had to walk through the smokey casino to get to our room. I understand that the casino is open to the public and they need to manage traffic, but it would be nice to if the hotel checkin was closer to the rooms and not on the other side of the casino. Our room was awesome. We had a king suite with a pool view. It was huge, nicely designed and very clean. After our 7 hour drive, we went to the pool bar and had drinks and dinner. Our waitress Samantha was friendly and attentive. She was great. The food was really good as well. Loved the waffle fries and the fish tacos were delicious. The next morning we got a cup of coffee from the Rise cafe (only food place open in the morning) and drank it by the pool. We had the three pools to ourselves. If I could change anything about this hotel, I would find a way to allow non smokers and/or non gamblers a way to avoid the casino. However, since the casino was full, maybe the current setup is just fine :). I can’t fault the hotel staff and amenities other than we don’t smoke or gamble.…

I recently had the opportunity to stay in a room of the East Tower of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and it was magnificent! The room was non smoking, had two queen beds, a view of the pool, and was truly comfortable. The bathroom was the size of a hotel room just by itself! Quality Hard Rock toiletries are provided, and the towels and wash cloths are soft and luxurious. The bed was comfortable and offered a good rest. Make sure you go the pool as it is nicely kept with plenty of chairs and umbrellas (Christian, Louie, and Cara made sure guests at the pool were well taken care of). The Poolside Bar and Grill is a nice place for a sandwich or burger (Kat got our menu items to us exactly as ordered and checked with us frequently to make sure we had what we needed). We enjoyed our two night stay at this hotel as the room was spacious and clean. When we arrived, we went to the Pool Bar & Grill (also a lot of fun) and met a gentleman who said this place recently went through a renovation. We told him our standard room was quite big, including the bathroom which was top notch! The room included a refrigerator and various other amenities you would expect. This hotel has three pools - a private pool, an audit pool and a family pool. Cabanas are available to rent, but they are quite pricy for the minimal service that comes with them. They did have nice big screen TVs though and the areas themselves looked quite relaxing. In addition, there are various price levels for the services desired. We loved the pool experience the best of our two night stay. We were in the private pool area which had great music and it was far from crowded. As for the negatives, this location has a very poor to nonexistent recycling plan. With all the plastic water bottles, straws, etc., I asked where the recycling bins were. I was told none were in the pool area and just to throw it in the regular trash. Same for the hotel room; no separate basket for recycling. It's a shame a place like this that throws out so many plastic water bottles ALONE doesn't have a better recycling plan. Also, you can hear everything going on in the hallway (at least on the 12th floor). On the last night, we heard people at 2:30am and 5am talking or laughing as if they were at our front door. (Don't get a room by the elevator!) Since this hotel is attached to the casino, you may get guests coming in at all hours. It woke us up twice that night with one person exclaiming "I love you!" over and over. I would come back for an overnight stay just for the pool and dining experience (specifically The Rez Grill-excellent!), especially during the week, when prices are reasonable and the crowds manageable…

I often go to Hard Rock Tampa as I find I win there more than Biloxi or Las Vegas, although I go to both of those several times a year. I wanted to do a review based on what is occurring now with Covid. As soon as you enter they take your temperature and make sure you are properly masked. The rooms don’t offer routine daily room service, but if you do need anything during your stay they will take care of it. Some machines are turned off to keep people separated. And the restaurants have tables spread way apart. People are required to wear masks and there are even some roving security patrols reminding people if they see people not cooperating. All in all, I feel safe, the casino appears to be doing the best they can under such difficult circumstances, and I did see many people winning jackpots. Yes I ended up losing more than I win. But I did win several nice jackpots and left happy. They have added a lot of new games. I find their game selection to be better than Biloxi or even Las Vegas. Had a cabana one day at the pool and it was awesome. Ate at Council Oaks and Cipresso. Great meals. …
