Check Out One of the Best Meet-Cutes of the Christmas Season in Lifetime's New Secretly Santa

One of the things I love about some holiday movies is the meet-cute way a couple gets together. I'm a sucker for the secret identity ones or the ones like Lifetime's upcoming Secretly Santa, where the two leads butt heads at work but neither realize that the person they've been corresponding with (via letters, text, online, etc) is the other. Harkening back to the 1940 rom-com The Shop Around the Corner and more recent hits like You've Got Mail and Hallmark Channel's Bottled with Love, Secretly Santa has the makings of a great meet-cute love story. Here's what we know about the upcoming It's a Wonderful Lifetime movie.

What is Secretly Santa about?

Miranda (Alicia Dea Josipovic) and Paul (Travis Nelson) are business rivals who accidentally meet at a costumed Santa crawl and spend a romantic evening together without learning each other’s identities. As their anonymous romance continues online, their businesses merge, forcing them into an unwanted partnership. As they clash while working together on a holiday gift-giving app, their hearts must reconcile their online love when unexpected feelings develop for one another.

Who's in the cast of Secretly Santa?

Alicia Dea Josipovic (Miranda)

Josipovic is a professional dancer who previously appeared as Bianca DeSousa on Degrassi The Next Generation and as Dancy Cologne on the Canadian series Debra. She has guest starred on Nurses, Reign and Frankie Drake Mysteries.

Travis Nelson (Paul)

Nelson had a multi-episode arc on Clarice and will appear in the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, The Lake starring Julia Stiles. He has previously appeared in Homemade Christmas and Mistletoe Magic.

Simon Webster (Ryan)

Hearties and Hopefuls may recognize Paul's son, Ryan, who is played by Simon Webster. Webster played Fred on When Hope Calls, the precocious child in the Brookfield orphanage who melted the hearts of anyone who met him, including the steely Tess Stewart (Wendy Crewson). He has also appeared in The Knight Before Christmas, The LostSymbol and most recently, The Hot Zone: Anthrax.
