    Expensive food
Seaworld is entertaining but unless you are rich, there is nothing affordable to eat or drink. Make sure to pack a lunch and drinks in your car. Food is not allowed in the park, but you can take in small snacks for the kids.

    Visit during the week
Visit during the week and early in the summer. We visited on a Tuesday and the park wasn’t crowded. We were able to get good seats at every single show and the longest wait for a ride was 7 minutes. Plus it wasn’t blazing hot yet. The temperature topped out at 87 degrees. The nice temp allowed us to stay at the park from open to almost closing time. Aquatica and Discovery Point close at 6, so I would save all of the rides for later in the evening.

Not crowded on June, great shows
Went on a Sunday in June and hardly had any lines and could sit where we wanted in shows. The Discovery Point was a highlight with dolphins, otters and seals so close and interactive. At first, I didn’t think we could go in since that’s how the one in Florida is. The dolphins would pull themselves up on the ledge showing off their new tricks. Couldn’t find the beluga or whale viewing. Just did a few rides- Atlantis and River one. Was disappointed the river one didn’t have any drops. The shows were fabulous. Plan to be drenched at the whale one if in the soak zone. The orca flipped its tail at as and left us gasping for air after 3 in a row- 100% drenched. Appreciated the free ice water at the concessions because of the heat.

    Awesome wholesome experience at SeaWorld
Visited SeaWorld on a chilly and windy November day close to Thanksgiving. We reached right at 1 pm which is when they open, so lots of parking spots were available. The area is huge, we were there for 5 hrs and still we did not cover everything, so be prepared to spend 6-7 hrs if you want to do everything. I took the "quick queue" ticket, which helped us to jump the queues and get reserved seating at the sea lion show, so that is preferable. Pls make sure that you take the map as soon as you enter so that you plan the show time as per your choice since the stadiums are at some good distance from each other. Rest rooms, gift centers and eateries are conveniently located but be ready to walk 4-5 miles easily while covering the SeaWorld. Some of the rides will shake you (in a good way), the sea lion show and dolphin interaction were the highlights of our visit! Must visit with your young kids, you will be happy with yourself after the visit😃

Seaworld -- good way to spend a day, more amusement park than sea life
Seaworld has a great Christmas display and programs. Lots of beautiful lights and Christmas characters in the evening for the children. For little ones, there is the Sesame street area with about 5 rides and character shows a few times a day. There are roller coasters for older kids and adults. If you are there for sea life, the best area is Discovery Point with the dolphins and aquarium. Be sure to search for the readily available discounts for admission.

    Great Live Shows!
This is the third SeaWorld I have been to and it maintains an operation that one would expect from SeaWorld. The animal shows never get old (with the exception of the sea lion and otter show, which tries too hard to be funny and comes across as rather lame). There are a variety of rides of various thrill-levels. There are opportunities for feeding animals and a number of options for getting more up-close with animals for those who want to pay the additional fees. I would not recommend paying for the VIP parking or the covered parking unless walking is really an issue for you; the regular parking is expensive enough, and if you arrive at the right time you can get pretty close to the VIP area anyway.

    Something for Everyone
Grandparents, parents, teens and tweens thoroughly enjoyed the day full of rides, food, and sea mammals. Bring your walking shoes and wallet. Get a cart for the young ones and an ECV for the older ones. This park is huge. Kudos to the staff at the dolphin exhibition for the best entertainment of the day.

Pricey and small! Orcas are the highlight.
I love Seaworld Orlando so I couldn’t wait to visit this one. I knew going in reviews said it was smaller but guess I was expecting more. The tortoise, penguin, alligator exhibits so small. I wish they’d put how long the stadium shows lasted on the map so we could have planned better. Orca show was amazing and it lasted 30 minutes. Dolphin show was ok, only 15 minutes. We didn’t get to see the sea lion/otter show due to time. I was hoping to at-least see a walrus or manatee somewhere. Guess you have to make the show to see a sea lion or otter too. Food is so expensive! $19.99 for burger and fries!?! I hope most of it’s helping pay to take care of the animals! Coasters are fun but didn’t get on many due to lines and not wanting to spend extra for the fast pass. We had to leave the water ride after waiting in line for 30 minutes due to “technical difficulties.” It was a very expensive day for a family of 4 to see minimal animals, 2 shows and ride 2 rides. I’m going back to Florida next time I visit a SeaWorld.

A fun park for the whole family
While not as well known as its Florida and California namesakes, this park is every bit as enjoyable. Located on the Northwestern suburbs of San Antoni, it is surrounded by other parks and a good selection of hotels. It easily accessed, with plenty of parking. Entrance is streamlined (although pricy!) There are rides for all ages and the animal shows are wonderful! To see the smiles on the faces of all the kids is just great. This is a great way to spend a day in San Antonio, and a welcome change from historical monuments and the Rivverwalk,

If you are considering going to SeaWorld I'd recommend printing your tickets and I suppose print proof of a reservation date. They are requiring reservations now during covid. I made a reservation under my annual pass. Then when we were in SA we called customer service to reschedule due to weather. Customer service is horrible in most of my experiences with them. And you may find the website to function poorly. The rep I finally got to speak to for rescheduling (on hold for 1 whole hour) was nice and made the new reservation easily. However, I directly asked if the email I received with tickets could be used for entry and she responded yes. If a rep tells you that you can use tickets on your phone for entry don't believe them. If you notice online and at the park signs indicating they've gone digital--don't believe them. Have your tickets and reservation tickets on hand. I'd also suggest if you created an online account to have all your information available on hand if you run into an issue. I was bombarded with a terrible employee needing me to login into my account and show proof of my annual pass. My family and I returned to SA specifically to go to SeaWorld and utilized tickets under my annual pass. After being tossed around to at least 4 or 5 employees and not being able to speak to a manager after requested (an over 2 hour process), we finally gave up and left. I will say toward the end of that day, with persistence to get in on my part, a rep finally printed tickets for me. She never acknowledged a mistake on their end or explained to me what the issue even was. We stood in line once again and the employee scanning tickets was unable to scan the printed tickets. My poor kids were even fed up and miserable at that point and asked to leave. I requested a refund for my annual pass and it was declined. Took a full month to even hear back from them. I was offered 3 tickets upon return to the park. I would never return. How would I believe those 3 tickets would be honored and even be accepted at the time of entry? I also submitted to BBB and Sea World still did not want to resolve the issue. Several other less than desirable things happened too but I think I've provided enough at this point to either have you reconsider going or to be extra prepared when you do go. If you've never been be ready to go through several check points (very different than Disney :) ) and one for COVID now that has you go through an area where you'll feel like cattle being herded. There's not clear direction of when you have finally entered the park. Customer service is right outside actual entry. If you want to use the photo club having your pics taken there's a customer service kiosk specifically for them right inside entry. You might get mixed messages from their photo club photographers as well. Be aware of hotel or other types of reps for time shares.

The worst ever. Went to Aquatica on Sunday-great. Went to SeaWorld on Monday and Tuesday-horrific. We were only able to ride two rides and see two shows over two days. The crowds were horrendous. The COVID checks , extra walking from the temperature checks and the crowd control-extra walking was unbearable in the hot sun. SeaWorld requires previous online reservations that consume a lot of your time. But they somehow let into toomany people. I have gone every year during spring break for the last 9 years and never seen crowds this large before. My children and I were not able to ride very many rides because the lines were too long. SeaWorld made people purchase reservations to see the shows at $25 a person but yet they claim that the shows are free.Arriving when the park open did not help the crowding situation. They were only allowing 8 to 12 people on each ride because of Covid. Wearing mask in 85° weather is unreasonable. Many of the food stands were closed. The ice cream parlor was closed where I take pictures of my kids holding ice cream cones every year to track their growth. It was a complete waste of $1000 coming to San Antonio this spring break. SeaWorld has left a bad taste in my mout. I hope it gets better by another park that can operate it better. Also Aquatica is only open on the weekends now which doesn't make sense because the temperatures were 85°. My kids were bummed out about this.

I made reservations online to bring my family to Sea World for 4/24/21.
We had our tickets already printed and set to go straight to the gate.
Unfortunately Sea World didn’t feel obligated to inform guests that the Cheer and Dance Nationals were going on that day and the park would be busier than it typically is.

We arrived and waited for 15 minutes in a line, with people not wearing masks and without social distancing, so everyone could through an enclosed tent so temperatures could be taken. If we didn’t have COVID we most likely could now after taking that unnecessary risk you put us in!
We arrived at the gate and to find out that our reservation wasn’t verified so most people could have been there without a reservation and SeaWorld really didn’t limit the people in the park.

Walking around the park people were not wearing masks and mask wearing didn’t seem to be enforced.

We were visiting to check out the Seven Seas festival. As a Gold pass member I purchased a 15 sample lanyard with the deal showing that pass members get 3 samples for free. I asked the young lady working the register and she didn’t have a clue what I was talking about. The deal was right the sign though. She had me holding up the line for 10 minutes and didn’t know how to even resolve the issue. The young man working her went to get a supervisor. After waiting 30 minutes our we finally had our lanyard figured out.

Well we ran out of our 18 samples and needed to purchase more in Korea / Japan. Well the lady there tells me she doesn’t have a bar code for the 18 samples for the price of 15 and if I just purchase 15 I don’t get my Gold Member 20 % off. I went off to the side and purchased it online but it was for the incorrect pass so she was only going to give me the 15 samples for what I just purchased. I asked her for a refund of my purchase then. She called a supervisor and they told her how to put through the extra 3 samples for free. Another 30 minutes of our visit wasted!!!

Seaworld was dirty and run down.. parking was expensive and you even had to pay by the hour for lockers so you could ride the rides. I was disappointed with the unkept animal enclosures and old abandoned rides and animal areas. The Orca show was good but expensive to get reserved area and then leave the late comers sit there for free… Seaworld in Orlando is one of my favorite places but I will never go here and would not recommend to anyone.

We visited the first part of July for a stop over on our trip for summer. I first will comment on the COVID efforts. There were hand sanitizer stations everywhere, employees were all in masks, even the performance people in shows and I appreciated that. Guests were wearing masks almost 100 percent. A few people were not, but I heard and saw employees asking people to mask up.

The park was relatively empty and we walked on to most every ride the entire day. In fact we only waited once and that was while we watched the ride cars be wiped down.

The steel eel was never opened the 8 hours we were there and Atlantis went down and never came up. The Stingray is a great addition and I loved the Reddirt music.

Only complaint is the lack of Shamu in the parks now. They have a place called Spankys and a placard talking about his history, but no real mentions of Shamu.

This park is no longer about the animals but mostly focuses on roller coasters. If you want to see the Orca show you need to get there an hour before. We paid for the reserved seating and even at 30 minutes before the show we were denied. In their defense the shows are at 50% capacity due to COVID so they skip every other row. We did see the Beluga Whale and Dolphin show but in retrospect the reserved seating extra was unnecessary. The best part was paying for the Penguin Tour. It's in a small classroom setting and it was just my family and another family so you get plenty of time to pet a penguin and pose for pictures.

We recently returned to the UK from a vacation in the Houston/San Antonio areas in the USA.

The highlight of the trip was scheduled to be a visit to Sea World San Antonio, and we specifically booked into a hotel close to the Park so that we could take advantage of a full day’s visit. In the event our visit to your Park turned out to be the low point of our holiday and, in hindsight, quite an expensive mistake. We visited the park on 13th November 2022.

The publicity led us to believe that the park would be fully operational, and that it would be well into the swing of the festive season. In the event we found that many food and drink stalls were closed, rides were shut down for technical or maintenance reasons, as were various exhibits, one example: the penguins. Even the Christmas Coffee shop was closed - despite being heavily advertised as a place to visit! Furthermore, the "photo opportunities" that form a large part of the entertainment are, in fact, an opportunity to pay to have your photo taken by a SeaWorld photographer.

However, the lamest excuse of the day goes to the crew of the the “Steel Eel”, who told us at 6pm that the ride had been closed due to "strong winds” when there was virtually no wind at all. I was not prepared to argue this point with the disinterested staff, who appeared to want to knock off early.

The strong impression we got was that the park was winding down prior to three days closure, with staff-members very keen to leave early.

In the end we left just after 6 pm as we felt that, having seen the three animal shows, the Park had virtually no more to offer as rides and stalls were closed, or had never opened.

We had brought friends with us from the UK and, based upon our historic experiences at the other sites in Florida and San Diego, we had promised them a magical experience that is unrivalled elsewhere in the world. Our experience at the San Antonio Park was a big disappointment, and an embarrassment for us to bring our friends to. The potential was there, but the many closures and unhelpful attitude of some staff made for a very poor experience.

Finally, don't bother contacting SeaWorld's customer service. They don't respond; clearly they don't care and just want your money.

So today(Thursday) we went to SeaWorld SanAntonio and we’re very disappointed and extremely under-impressed. We have been 5 times over the last 25 years. We are a couple in our mid to late 60’s. We do not do roller coasters but love shows. There were only 3 Shows to go to ( one kid show we did not attend) ....I remember there being 6 or 7 shows the other times. All the water sections were closed. NONE of the beer gardens were opened and only 1/3 of the food areas were opened. The shows have changed. The 3 shows were good. They lasted about 25 minutes each so we got less than 90 minutes of entertainment for our $30 per person tickets. Don't know how much of these closures are due to Covid or the animal rights issues. NOT worth the money. We were in the park 5 hours.

If you’re on the fence, suggest don’t go. Especially if you want to ride on the roller coasters or... set low expectation. Great white, Riptide and Swinger are closed already. The remaining rides are at best running 1/2 of the time. At 2pm peak time, another 2-3 rides are closed due to mechanical difficulties or high wind etc. I mean this place is already close weekday and even at weekend they don’t deliver. Plus it closes at 5pm. And note there is not Pet Ahoy show (which is one of the best show) and Orca/Sea Lion/Beluga shows are all shorten so be warned folks. Queues are short but waiting is inevitable because the rides and shows are at 50% capacity too. Nope we don’t have the best visit here this time.

A friend and I had not been to this park in ten years or so. We decided to check it out while vacationing in the area. Tickets and parking lot passes were purchased online, as everything is basically cashless at the moment. The parking lot is quite large, so expect to walk a ways if you do not wish to shell out the extra money for preferred parking.

The park was very clean when it comes to the grounds. The workers were not the friendliest. I know this kind of work is tough as I used to work at an amusement park years ago, but a smile can go a long way for guest satisfaction.

Several of the rides there kept breaking down, and one of the two coasters that have been added since our last visit was closed for the whole day. Other coasters broke down as we were waiting in line, and it took a good amount of time to get them operating again. I do understand guest safety, but I am noticing lots of parks are having maintenance issues this year for some reason.

Texas Stingray, the newest coaster, is a big hit. It was running well, and I would say it is their best coaster.

The animal habitats throughout the park are fairly well-maintained.

Food prices were VERY high. We ate at the pizza buffet. The pizza was pretty good though.

Souvenirs were decent but pricey.

Overall, it was not the best day I have had at an amusement park, but certainly far from the worst. Hopefully things that were not going so well will be addressed soon.
