Tinsley Mortimer Shades Scott Kluth After Split and Reacts to Leah McSweeney's Support as Insider Alleges Scott "Tricked" Her Into Leaving RHONY

Tinsley Mortimer addressed her split from Scott Kluth on her Instagram Stories on Thursday night as she threw some shade at her former fiance.

Hours after Scott confirmed their engagement had been called off, the former Real Housewives of New York City cast member likened her thoughts to those of Carrie Bradshaw after Mr. Big was a no-show to their wedding on Sex and the City before reacting to her ex-co-star, Leah McSweeney, seemingly slamming Scott as “trash.”

In a post shared on March 18, Tinsley shared a video of Carrie smacking Mr. Big with her wedding bouquet on a New York City street.

“Bravo universe when we see Sc*tt,” read a message shared with the clip.

Also on Instagram, Tinsley responded to a Sex and the City meme shared by Leah, which featured Charlotte York telling Mr. Big, after he stood up Carrie, “I curse the day you were born!”

After seeing that Leah had captioned the meme with the word, “Mood,” and the hashtag, “Men are trash,” Tinsley wrote, via a screenshot shared by Queens of Bravo, “Love you beyond! You’re a dear true friend.”

After Scott confirmed his and Tinsley’s split with a statement, an insider told E! News that the former RHONY star was “devastated” by the breakup, which reportedly happened on Friday, not months prior as he claimed to PEOPLE.

“Scott tricked her,” the source alleged. “He made her leave the show and leave her life and career in New York. He promised her a new life.”

As for Scott’s comments about the two of them “living independently for the last few months,” the insider labeled the claim as a lie.

“She has been in Palm Beach visiting her mom and he has been traveling for business. They were not living apart,” the insider claimed.

While Scott suggested he and Tinsley separated at the end of 2020, Tinsley appeared on the Reality Life With Kate Casey podcast in October, where she spoke about their future plans for a wedding and kids.

“We do want children, of course….At this point we sort of feel like 2020, we are waiting for 2021 to do the things we planned like the wedding, and then we will work on the baby. That’s the plan,” she shared.

Tinsley and Scott began dating in February 2017 and got engaged in November 2019.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
