Why would Mullen come here?He would have worked well here, too bad. Maybe Dan Mullen will come here.
Wow...Cuse must be disappointed..they expected the news conference yesterday at 9 AM...He would have worked well here, too bad. Maybe Dan Mullen will come here.
Not as disappointed as I am right now. Lincoln Reily is still on the table.Wow...Cuse must be disappointed..they expected the news conference yesterday at 9 AM...
What more can he do at Miss State? This isn't Indiana or Idaho. There is a lot of potential here in New Jersey. Why would Mullen come here?
Too young and not enough experience at the P5 level for me. A couple more years of similar performance and with a differnt QB and I'd like him more. Scott Frost was even a little light on the resume for me but doing it with Adams post Mariota was definitely another checkbox marked. Not as disappointed as I am right now. Lincoln Reily is still on the table.
We obviously didn't reach out as we'd have been able to get him if he considered Cuse and UCF...he almost went to Cuse except Babers stalled on UCF...can't believe he settled on a G5 that even the Big12 is dismissing in realignment in favor of Memphis according to Okies board..Funny its hard to believe HE reached out to them ''Cuse''...and the hits just keep on coming..Not as disappointed as I am right now. Lincoln Reily is still on the table.

There are whispers these days that money not being a problem. Well we will see.Mullen alone makes $4.25M per year and we couldn't get him last time because we couldn't afford his budget for assistants.
Last time I don't think he was making that much I think it was closer to 3M but got bumped up after his big year. I could foresee us going up to 3M for the right guy but I cant' realistically envision anything more than that.Mullen alone makes $4.25M per year and we couldn't get him last time because we couldn't afford his budget for assistants.

Yes it was...for us....he has dreams of raising Neb back to prominence so i wouldn't have wanted a short termer here when we could use some relative stability with a guy who knows our turf.....i'd like GS MC or Rhule..Al Golden would be ok except for the TTFP connection...GS and Dino were also interviewed but they went with this guy. It was a good choice.
Seems like a home run hire. UCF has a beautiful campus in sunny Orlando. Saracuse is way up in the snow somewhere. Where is Sewercuse? I know it's close to Canada.

never happen IMO....that window has closed..even GS has his limits.GS has that same connection, he also worked for JoePa at Penn State.
If money were not a problem I'd have to think we'd have our #1 choice locked up by now. Money not a problem means offers that cannot be refused. There are whispers these days that money not being a problem. Well we will see.

UCF cares about football, whereas Syracuse will always be a basketball school. You put your money where your heart is.Oregonian reporting Frost turned down a 1.2mm offer from Syracuse to take UCF. Not sure what he is making at UCF, but did they outbid Syracuse?
