Who Was Flow La Movie? Puerto Rican Producer Killed in Plane Crash

Flow La Movie, also known as José Angel Hernandez, was among the passengers on a Florida-bound plane that crashed Wednesday in the Dominican Republic.

The crash killed all nine people aboard the private jet, the aircraft's operating company, Helidosa Aviation Group, said in a statement posted on its Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts.

The Puerto Rican music producer's partner Debbie Von Marie Jimenez Garcia and the couple's four-year-old son Jayden Hernandez also died in the crash.

The company said the plane had departed from the Dominican Republic's La Isabela International Airport (also known as El Higüero airport) for Miami shortly before seeking to land at Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic.

The airport shut down its operations after the incident, which saw hundreds of flights canceled, according to the Associated Press.

According to flight records obtained by People, the Gulfstream IV jet attempted to make an emergency landing not long after taking off from El Higüero, before crashing at the Las Americas International Airport nearby.

The cause of the crash is unknown and no information on why the pilots aborted the flight was provided by the company.

The other passengers who died were Kellyan Hernandez, Yeilianys Jeishlimar Melendez Jimenez and Jassiel Yabdiel Silva and Veronica Estrella. These deceased passengers were said to be relatives of the producer, Helidosa Aviation Group said, as reported by the New York Post.

Luis Alberto Eljuri and Víctor Emilio Herrera were the two deceased crew members, according to Helidosa Aviation Group.

The company's statement read: "This accident causes us great pain and sorrow.

"We ask that you join us with prudence and solidarity to support the families affected as we go through this difficult moment" it added.

Newsweek has contacted Helidosa Aviation Group for comment.
